Will Bergy expose him?

They certainly would take him if you give them one of the second rounders... or both, whatever

- obie

Will be Bergevin still be there for that draft?

Maybe not....

I don't think you would have to give more than a 2nd to Seattle to pick him up. They might even take him nonetheless

It's an expansion team fox

And he will have one year left to that deal anyway

2 years left but yeah, it's not impossible they take him, especially with a sweetener... I just don't know if Bergy will expose, and yes, I think he will still be there for the expansion draft

lmao

Mete is always a throw in, in any trade because it makes sense, especially in a trade for an experienced LD from a team that is selling...

In reality, the Tatar and Danault raises would only be 3-4 million, Armia alone would almost be enough, then you have Lehkonen, 2 million less on the Alzner buyout, the 1.5 in reduced salary to Allen and also the Seattle pick, could be one of Chiarot or Eddie, Kotkaniemi needs a deal but won't be a ton more

- obie

thank god we have that calculator!

just kidding with you

You agree with me now that Allen has been shaky ? Maybe he was used to a better defense in STL. Of coz the whole team has been lately as well
- habs88888

when people wanted him to replace Price earlier in the season (were you one of them?), I said it was not a good idea, coach had to think long term. Yes, Price was awfull, but I knew what Allen was : a back up.

He can't be number one.

But even with Price, you need to score goals to win

Oh and that defense sucks some ass, been saying that for months now

He's not the only problem right now, that list is long

We all know the answer why. I’m fully sick of the guy at this point. The sooner he’s off the books the better. Can’t come fast enough.

Tatar is at 4.8 right now? Armia's salary coming off the books will cover Tatar's raise, his own replacement's salary (Caufield) and Poehling's salary being added to the roster... Poehling replaces Lehkonen and that's Danault's raise... this sh!t is easy lol

Last game Allen didn't play well, but he kept them in it against the Leafs. Price was actively making them lose or making it much more close than it had to be. He was a disaster at the start. I'd take this play of Allen right now over Price at the start. The offensive production and d coverage is the bigger problem right now.

Is Lehkonen deal over after this season? RFA?

how much of a raise would you expect for Danault? The offer he had a few months back looked pretty much fair to me

Yea Lehkonen is RFA, I like the guy but he's getting pushed out real quick...

What was the offer again? 5 million? Even that is only about a million and a half more or so, looking at less than 3 million in raises for the 2 really, if they both wanna stay, it doesn't have to be a problem

Do you think they won't even make an offer to Lehkonen? I would not mind him for cheaper on the 4th line and pk, but that's should be it for him

the offer was around 5 millions a year for Danault I think, maybe a bit more. Long term

With a flat cap for a while he should have jump on that. I think the offer will be similar, even after his slow start

I guess that's better:

Lines and pairing at practice
Tatar/Armia - Danault - Byron
Toffoli - Suzuki - Evans
Drouin - Kotkaniemi - Anderson
Lehkonen - Staal - Perry

Kulak - Weber
Edmundson - Petry
Romanov - Leskinen
Frolik - Mete

Price has been inconsistent no doubt but team plays better usually in front of him for whatever reason, I think the most important issue is team defense right now
