No trade yet?
I really fear our Fletcher just doesn't get it.
Staying put is not the option. Just sell Mortimer, sell!!!! Do not even think that we can get anywhere this year.

Sell and scoop the assets. This team has gaps, but what is good they are fixable in quite short time. If we manage to sell 2-3 players b y tomorrow, we can set ourselves really well for draft dealing.
There are clear obvious solutions to get us to contender position/roster by Oct this year.

Now Fletcher, do your job, or you might not be here in June time buddy :-D

Bruins D tonight

Wow. It’s possible that the Bruins might struggle down the stretch. Regardless, play well put pressure on them and see where the chips fall. At the risk of jinxing them today, they have played better of late.

Right. A lot I do ifs right now. But it may get the conversation started.

Maybe though pretty much all other teams will be involved. So to me I dont Richard around with this fluff offers. I get to the point to get their attention and keep their attention is all. Sanheim is a good start I would think; though how many other teams also have a Sanheim to offer?

To a similar point how many have a similar in Myers to send back? What would your offer be?

All teams have a 3rd pair/healthy scratch to offer!!!! Dont think myers did his value any favors with his play this year; add in the coaches comments and really not sure he would be the main piece a team was looking for in a Jones trade.

Not sure what mine would be as need to see what else the flyers do in the next few months. I assume this trade would happen around the draft.

HCQ is all that they need! Much safer than the experimental crap they're injecting people with

Good scouts and GMs look beyond just what's going on with a player right now. Myers absolutely has trade value with his physical tools and still being young.

Ellis has been hurt for Nashville, and is not ready to come back yet. Even if they do make the playoffs Nashville knows they are not going to get out of their division, so they might want to trade Ellis to free future cap space and get some help down the stretch here. Charcidi thinks the price will be first round pick, Laughton, Frost and another prospect not named York
- jd250[and I would add not named Foerster]. If that is all I would do it in a heartbeat!

you cry about their supposed lack of skill but want to trade frost in a heartbeat.....shrewd

Fun to speculate. But really only comes down to Columbus and what they want.

The old jersey curse...I have an Utley, a Halladay, a Richards, a McNabb (which I guess is cool again ). And of course I shelled big $ for my authentic Carson Wentz...I think I’m done....

No one is buying what the Flyers are selling. Not much demand for underachieving players making high dollars with term left on their contracts.

Sure, I guess Fletcher could look to move some of the younger less expensive players. Laughton, TK, Lindblom, Myers, Sanheim. But you'd almost certainly be selling for pennies on the dollar in most of those cases, so really what's the point? I'm not 100% against it if the deal is right, but none of those guys are going to bring back a return that is going to materially impact the team in the short term. And they'd still be stuck with the same core & their contracts. Couldn't even give Ghost away.

Laughton is the only one that makes some sense to me given is UFA status. I like him, and hope he's re-signed to a reasonable contract. But you gotta give to get. And if there's any inclination that his next contract is out of the Flyers comfort zone, then Fletch should be shopping him. Him walking for nothing would be a disaster. As would signing him to a crazy new contract.
