Ok, but in this case I agree with you, so what's your problem?
- jd250

In this case? It was all of a few games ago.

You said this is completely on the players. Now you change your mind?

Who will sign a player for 8.25 million for just 1 year and lose a first in the process? The ones who need him that bad are contenders who don't have salary space. The ones who have are far lower down and they won't do something like that

Best to wait when the price is high, and the salary is prorated for the remainder of the season.

Flyers would have to hold a high percentage of his salary and cap hit...again, I don't expect it to happen, Fletcher would need to get very creative and he's very conservative. Its not about any dissatisfaction with the player...the team has proven that they need a shakeup...A big one

Trading Giroux is not the shakeup that is needed.

Was recording the game and watching later.
It was 3-2 in the third maybe 8 minutes left in the third.
The recording just shut off.
I just saw the final score.
The DVR is smarter than i am.
Not sure what happened but must have been a disaster.
Just have to laugh.

Most of the guys I work with are officers and with age comes wisdom. The brigs have seen plenty of youngsters who foolishly drink and drive. As a guy who got his vaccination as soon as possible, I counsel everyone to do the same...if not for themselves then for the others that getting the country vaccinated will save. My point was that I don't think the 40% is much different if compared to the general population of the same age.

Why would I get vaccinated for a virus that has a over 99% recovery rate for my age group.
Plus the vaccinations are essentially still in the trial period.
You, don’t know if they will be effective.
There has yet to be a vaccine that worked for a corona virus.
Don’t counsel anyone because I don’t think you’ve actually looked at both sides of the situation.

Sorry...disagree at this point. 11 years with one playoff series win dictates change

Giroux with a mindless, lackadaisical icing, then he gets bodied by Jeff Skinner's corpse on the tying goal.

After that is was time for the unraveling by this egg shell fragile collection of poopbags.

Imagine being the Buffalo Sabres chew toy.

The reason is simply that if you have the virus and are asymptomatic you can infect others in categories that are more susceptible to serious illness or death. As far as the vaccine, I've done more than my share of reading...as a matter of fact as I write this I'm 1 day post my 2nd injection and feeling kinda lousy. I have every faith that I did the right thing. You must follow your conscience. I'm very happy to live in a country where you have the right to choose your own path. We may disagree, but I would always defend that right for you.

No ones taking that salary....and he does have a NMC. It might lead to Flyers not signing him in a year from now....he for sure should not make anything close to his current salary if Philly keeps him.

Probably not...but hopefully they are trying. If this last month plus culminating with today's debacle doesn't prove we're going in the wrong direction then nothing will.

That is not true like I said you don’t have all your facts straight.
If you feel you did the right thing then great.
I see no problem for people making decisions for what they feel is right.
I hear far to many people wanting it mandatory.

But they showed improvement today. They only lost 5-3 as opposed to 6-1.

I absolutely have my facts straight, read and learn. There is no way that the vaccine can be made mandatory by the government. If an employer wants to make it mandatory, then they can. Again make your decision and stand by it. I hope that you and those around you stay well.

Really bad sequence by Jake there, first he gives up the puck at the blue line in a way that is astonishing for an experienced NHL forward to do, and then stays out there for an extended shift stopping Farabee from getting on the ice until half his shift was over. This is what drives me and others crazy about Jake!
- jd250

Jake would be exposed in expansion draft if I had a vote. His grunge look would fit in! Are they still doing grunge in Seattle?

This is the first game where I really think AV had a hand in losing the game. I have also questioned AV's moves in the past, but I never thought they were egregious enough to cost the Flyers a game, but today was different. Not playing Farabee in key moments in the 3rd period? Not taking a timeout after the icing when everyone could see G was gassed? What the hell was AV watching there? AV in my mind has a good slice of the blame pie in this one.

There is no doubt Jake will be exposed, but I can't see Seattle biting without considerable help from the Flyers; his contract is just too much for what he gives you.

You’re not allowed to take a time out following an icing
