We just did the same thing two years ago after we gave up on a 40 year old garage fridge. This winter everything in it froze solid no matter what temp we set it. Now with the garage warming up, it isn’t keeping stuff cold. Waste of money.

This was a really nice Kitchen Aid. We ended up turning off the water line into it because the (frank)er kept turning the water on to fill up a glass every few hours without anybody touching anything. This is after trying to make the water and ice maker actually work over and over.

Do basic fridge, no water/ice dispenser which requires a separate set of coils.
