My opinion is if Adams said “Listen Boston isn’t offering us much, it’s either Vegas, St. Louis, or you can stay” at the very least take it to this afternoon.

It would make his story actually believable

But they knew Hall wanted to only go there, and Hall told Adams he'd only go to Boston(I believe neither) so why on earth would they offer more?

How much "more" should a 2 goal Hall at his cap hit should have gotten? Another pick? 5th rounder? What. You two keep saying more more more. Give me an example of an appropriate more. I know if the roles were reversed, I wouldn't have wanted to touch Hall with a 10 foot pole.

If Hall even insinuated Boston or bust in any way, shape, or form, you can bet his agent made sure the Bruins knew it, somehow, unless he is absolutely terrible at his job.

Potentially, but from what is being publicly said everything accelerated in the last couple days, especially yesterday. I think Adams is a nice guy, but GM's around the league have got to be smelling blood when they call the Sabres right now. It is what it is, but this organization needs big hits with regards to transactions right now, and so far it's been lackluster with Adams.

You've got no reason to say this. He hasn't been swindled in any of his trades and a couple of them were really liked at the time. He clearly isn't a dummy. I think if anything GMs were probably salivating when they saw what TMGM gave up in the Kane trade.

There are ways of communicating indirectly which make "tampering" almost impossible to prove. Think of it like the salary cap. If a team really wants or needs a way around it, they figure it out.

whelp, we can scratch off the islanders as they traded with new jersey...if colorado was in the mix, from hall's standpoint i'd think he'd strongly consider them as they are a western conference favorite...not sure about stl and vgk

After I read that post, I was thinking that didn't come off the way I meant it.

Good for your organization getting that type of return for someone who disappears. Wasn't questioning what you've seen but more about congratulating you for the haul.
