There's different scenarios for everyone.

How much are they making? What's their cap hit? Maybe there's a coach or scout that likes a certain player or has a history w that player. You have NTC and NMC. You have the expansion draft. You have style fit, character fit.

Maybe it's just that the scouts and GM's don't want our sh!t players. Is that 6th round pick that important? Because that's all you're getting. There's 30 other GMs trying to out do one another.

TMGM was fascinating. He identified Asplund in the second round as someone worth getting. He got Carrier in the Miller trade. But then he brings in Bogo and Kulikov - two knuckle-draggers that are toolsy but very questionable between the ears.

Since the Sabres traded for Bjork and claimed Caggiula is it safe to say Granato is here to stay?

I was assured that it was worth while to give the yes-man a chance...
