There were conversations earlier in the year but he’s on the no trade list now.

I mean he isn't an untouchable but it would suck when he just started to find his game

Well consider this good news because that would have been a sell low situation.

Look at that a condition.

Wanna go another round with a difference in 2nd round vs 4th round picks? Or you got that Gerbe thinking that a 4th is essentially a mid 1st

A 3rd is essential a lottery pick, so whatever.

lets be honest after the first 10-15 picks in the first round things are pretty much a crap shoot, so really 2nds vs 4ths, vs 5ths, are MEH IMO, unless you get lucky.

I would trade/package the majority my picks for proven young NHL players

If this is the case, league wide, teams get a lot more lucky in the 2nd round vs 4ths and 5ths. Like a substantial rate of luck.

True, but maybe those picks can be used to pry someone before the Kracken draft with a team that can't protect everyone.

Somewhat. Percentages drop to that 1/10 at the 4th round and later I believe.

1/5 3rd rounders plays NHL games
1/3 about for 2nd rounders

Adding the 2nd, (2) 3rds, a 5th and the 6th from Jonas. Historical stats would indicate we get an impactful player from one with about a 10% chance of "star" status when combining probabilities.

Just trying to put some lipstick on this pig. Carry on.

I’m not only referring to this year. He’s struggled with this, particularly the maturity, his whole NHL career

Shows distaste for team, frustration all over his face, body language, lack of effort on line changes, ect. I could go on all day. This is fine for most on the team, but not a captain
