All I know is Hall was traded a day before the deadline, which means Adams thought he had the best offer he was going to get.

Maybe it was, most of us severely doubt it.

Are you trying to say that no one loses deadline deals? That all trades are 100% in line with the "market"? It's just all that simple?

There's been a bunch of reports about how aggressive the Sabres have been in retaining Ullmark. I'd say 90% chance it gets done.

Here is the thing. Foligno and Palmeri were not on the market anymore. They are no longer in the equation.

Hall is going to go play on Bostons top line and most likely produce.

Foligno for the Leafs, yes. Palmieri instead of Hall, no. But they used a middle 6 C and a middle 6 F for a late first. Too bad Hall didn't (frank)ing do anything this year.

I'm not, i'm trading for hall because he has great underlying numbers and a woeful shooting percentage

unfortunately the GMs in the league don't really think that way
