I don't know what most of you were expecting. Hall was really, really awful. I'm happy with the 2nd rounder...more than I would have paid for the guy.

The same people on here that can't stand Risto will whine about his return, should he be traded. "He was worth a first rounder !!!" - oh really ? You hated him forever, think he's horrible, yet he's suddenly going to be worth a first.

Bottom line - People just LOVE to b!tch about everything. Humans suck.

How big of a difference is it from 1-3 this draft?

Hall is a great example of why fancy stats are just plain useless...he has positive fenwick and corsi, and people expect goals will be scored by him. But anyone with at least one working eye can see he was garbage at everything. Bad zone entries, bad protecting the puck, super bad at playing defense, bad at actually scoring, doesn't seem to bring intangibles, soft in corners, does not go to the front of the net...how the hell can expected goals be a positive number for a player that has one goal since the first game of the year?

I didn't think this would be true but apparently it is. I think the swap of the other two is just that secondary slap in the face that nobody was expecting. I would have rather taken a 3rd and not have to take on this other scrub's celery while keeping a nice 4th line center.

If you ask Gerbe a fourth is basically a 1st and a 2nd is basically a 3rd.

A second is basically a lottery pick.

And then potentially lose out on the best lottery odds.

Big as I believe Beniers is the best player in the draft and he won't last beyond the top 2.

He elected to sign Cody Eakin as a UFA, walk Ullmark to UFA status, and sign Reinhart to a one year deal.

Not great so far for Adams.

the sabres signed both of those players as free agents, so in that respect they came out on top...that hall was so bad in buffalo can only be summed up in two words:
