That’s why pairings are very important, I would do
Edmundson Petry
Kulak Weber
Chiarot Romanov - habs88888
agreed 200%
you can switch them according to the score. if you need to protect a lead, move Chiarot up |

do we agree that he brings more offense than Mete, or Edmundson, or Chiarot, or Ouellet, or any other dmen we have not named Petry?
we're not looking for Bobby Orr here. - fidopro
yeah but not much more.
take the (frank)ing gloves off romanov at this point. |

Only thing is Romanov is not a RHD and he had not been on target with his shot except unfortunately hitting Gally’s thumb

35 pts 2 years ago?
Chiarot and Edmundson could have that combined if they're lucky

the hell cares what he did two years ago? If you look at his totals for the other 75% of his career, you see its closer to 20-25 points. I would make my personnel decisions based on that and not an outlier season.
he had 2 more points than chariot last season and i don't think chariot gets any PP time. |

it proves that he can do it, and that he might do it again. Chiarot will never, never get 35 pts. Dunn could., especially considering his age.
of course if they both get 20 pt, you're probably better off with Chiarot. but the play here is that Dunn could (not saying will) could, do better. much better.
and if it's not Dunn, it can be someone else, we're not picky. like i said we're not looking for Bobby Orr here. even Keith would do. |

il va être crissement bien reposé, faque yest mieux d'en avoir profité pour faire une ptite introspection et regarder un peu de vidéo, question de revenir à son niveau de jeu de l'an passé |

Keith has had a fantastic career, but he's just as washed up as Weber. I don't think he's an much of an upgrade if at all. |

it was an example. they need a dman who can regroup the offense, feed the forwards to get the offense going out of the dzone. a good passer/skater. Chiarot and Edmundson (and Weber) are stay at home dmen.
and yes Romanov could become that guy, but not this year. in a few years maybe. not even sure yet.
they need that LD now, not in 2 years.
could Kulak be that guy? I'm waiting... so far not good enough. |

No disagreement there, just don't think Keith is the solution.

Yup.
Habs trade for D
Habs recall Caufield
If we are lucky, Habs trade Drouin but that won’t happen

Drouin won't go but it could very well be his last year in Montreal, 🤞
And yes, a D... Habs linked to all kinds of F, Getzlaf? Gusev? Don't need F when Byron, Lehkonen and Evans don't have guaranteed spots when everyone is healthy, Frolik never plays and yes, Caufield in the AHL... who would you rather add? Caufield or Gusev? |

Don’t need Getzlaf, will become senior homes if that happens. Having Perry and Staal are good but they should alternate them with the other guys to ensure they are fresh each game |
