He's top ten is goals right now for defenseman. Overall points.. not so much..

But still, I wouldnt call his defense horrid. You start the year with a top pairing defenseman with provorov and Myers playing like he did last year, things might be looking a lot different. He's your ace in the hole when your down 3-2 with two minutes left.

Taking a quick look at the numbers, and this is by no means scientific (too lazy on a Saturday) but if the Flyers add six power play goals and subtract six powerplay against goals they win two or three additional games. Lets split the difference and say they have five more points. Big difference in the season. Just pointing out how important special teams are.
