Maybe Stevie trades Ryan + Bernier(1/2 salary retained) to the Bolts for Maca-leaky and a 2nd . The Bolts put Ryan on LTIR, Bernier becomes a better back-up. Not enough cap dump for Tampa though.....They would do better with Boone Jenner and Savard.....and then look to make another trade for a back-up.

I still think Tampa deals their 1st Rd pick for Savard. He'd really stabilize their RD. Columbus would have to retain 50% hence the 1st. JBB could taxi Tyler Johnson to save a mil. LTIR Rutta who's injured "week to week."

Yep! Savard (retain 1/2 salary)+ Jenner for a 1st + Goodrow...LTIR Jenner and you have $2.5 M in cap space to add a goalie. Goodrow can be replaced in the trade by another player under a $1M.... But a similar deal to what Dooby is doing in Leaf land

If Florida needs cap space they could always trade a couple of 5th Rd picks for Nielsen and Dekeyser. Then Radko Gudas can slew foot them from behind in practice and put both on LTIR. Opens up 10.5 million for the Panthers at the trade deadline to go with Ekblad's LTIR.
