His daily cap hit is $23,707 so why would they need Freddy's space, it's all so confusing.

According to the Athletic they have enough room to add a couple of contracts (if $ retained) without using Freddie’s cap space. They see this pushing Engvall to 4 line wing and Kerfoot up to 3rd C if nobody else is added.

Is today the day? Maybe not on game day... but why not?
I especially love the mid game trades where they pull the player off the bench and send them packing. Poor bugger though...would suck getting booted from this team.
