Ugly win
- Thorny87

it was but im still of the belief that any win is a good win right now. even when they (frank) up its more of a discrepancy in actual talent due to guys being out than heart. this is an easy team to pull for right now. they bust their ass. 3 points from crosby and a win. fun night that feels like its from a few years ago.

No Geno
No Kap
No Blueger
No Tanev

Any win is a good win right now. Not to mention beating the Devils on the road.

Agreed. The biggest adds to the lineup will be Malkin, Kap, Blueger, and Tanev.

I don't think anyone else significant.

When healthy, there really isn't much room.

We have two gaping holes in the top 9. When everyone’s healthy, Rodrigues is still playing on a top 3 line. We definitely need reinforcements, I just don’t think we can afford them.

I just think we are going to see the patience that hextall has. I hope not, even if it’s just moving someone like petts for a mid 6 player. Feeling a bit ambivalent. Kind of missing Trader Jim right now, but I’m also not worried about hextall screwing up some terrible trade.

I can’t remember who said they liked that Buffalo only tied the longest losing streak so that you can appreciate the wild ride of the penguins by having the longest winning and losing streaks of all time. With JR excitement was always abound. I can see how hextall’s patience can wear thin and he’s only been here for 2 months ahah. The weird year seems to have everything quiet though so maybe it’s just the virus’ fault.

Yeah I’m not missing trader Jim at all right now. We should either do something big or nothing at all given the state of our asset pool. Rutherford would have made a trade for the hell of it by now and it likely would have either been bad, unnecessary, or both. I’m thankful for Hextall’s patience right now.

On one rumor site they listed him as a target by Hextall. He would be a great get

This is what I expect to happen and I also don't miss Jim. Yeah, I'm itchy for a trade, but I'm glad to see some deeper calculation going on.

My wish would be they do find some way to move Matheson in a hockey trade that works out for the Pens. That's the irrational dream. lol

I'd be surprised to see the Devils move him or anyone that's not a rental at this point, with the exception of Subban.

So what's the deal with Gusev? He was solid last year. Has he just completely regressed this year?

He’s a playmaker on a team with no finishers. He’s not Dadanov but he’s also not nearly as bad as he appears to be this season.

I know he plays both wings. He might be one of the better options for the Pens since he'd cost no assets.

Seeing the mighty Zohan with no points last night... just no puck luck or he play bad?
