Wasn’t the question but thanks.

LMAO.

Here is the question you asked.

"Losing coverage/awareness or his coverage has no relation to hockey iq?"

Did I blame him? No not at all. This is hyperbole. And being taken out of context. Since you know. What exactly is his hockey iq?
- Peter Richards

I don't know but whatever it is, these Flyers don't have much of it.

Right. So his awareness has nothing to do with hockey iq. That is you response I take it. You said his issues can be fixed. Don’t disagree that positioning, angles and coverage can be corrected over time. But I disagree that having awareness on the ice has nothing to do with hockey I q. It is one of the components that makes up hockey iq. Otherwise imo he has all the tools. If he had elite hockey iq he would be more like jones. Don’t know where you guys think I said he was bad or can’t improve. Or am blaming him for all issues. Yes the whole team has struggled. Still young. Yes. Room to grow.

But we can disagree. Would like to hear you definition of hockey iq.

First we need to address your comment that it wasn't the question. You were wrong there, so why that response? This adversarial approach you have is not going to work for you. After that, then we can delve further into Myers issues and I'll explain to you what is going on with him. And we can clarify what was actually said. As you have a number of things wrong here.

You wanted to start something, so let's finish it. You want to post inaccuracies about what "you guys said" and what our favorite words are. So let's get into it.

Please do. What do you think the coaches have had to tell him over and over about? Do you have an opinion on why they need to keep telling him and why isn't grasping it?

Thinking back 6 weeks did anyone see Sam Morin playing well as a dman and playing ahead of a healthy Myers or even Gustafson? Funny how things work sometimes.

Not at all. But I am glad he is doing well. We need a physical element on our team. Hope he continues his progress.

I know Myers isn't a bruiser. But I wish he would use his size a little more consistently. We have seen how Morin changes rushes just by the threat of physical play. Opposing forwards have their heads up and make mistakes.

Myers is just as big. In my opinion he needs to add that danger to his game. I'm not looking for the guy to kill people or fight, I just want to see him be a threat on the ice more often.

It would be great for the Flyers if big Sam can forge a role in the bottom pairing...great story.

Myers seemed to be more physical early on. I agree he needs to be more physical and use his size....I think the more he does that the better the rest of his game will become.

Its interesting how the two big guys seem to be at opposite ends of the spectrum. One needs to learn to dial it back and pick his spots, the other needs to dial it up. Hopefully they both meet in the middle so to speak.

He's likely gonna settle into the Braydon Coburn spectrum of physicality. I'd be OK w/ that.

If someone (not saying the pens, jusy hypothetical) offered you a first for him in the high 20s, right now, no other conditions or strings. Do you take it?

So your response to being finished with the conversation is to ask a question. Hockey IQ is a combination of anticipation, understanding the flow of the game and reaction to what's going on. That's how I view it.

Consistency is the correct word with Myers. He is inconsistent from game to game and from shift to shift. That is what irks the coaching staff.
