So no fire sale yet? What happened with this club?
There is no decency nor accountability anymore.

I remember years when Flyers had a brand and much lower threshold for unacceptable.... I miss those years...

Losing coverage is not iq. But awareness of the play where it is going, where players are on the ice is a large part of hockey iq. Yes there has been a lot of lapses this year. No one is disbursing that. You two love the term hyperbole. This start with me saying he is athletic. Yes very. But not sure he has a great hockey iq. As he consistently has awareness issues, has been susceptible to patterns ( beat on same play multiple times) and hasn’t adjusted. Not saying he is bad, just question what his actual hockey iq is.
- Peter Richards

Almost every goal against is a chain reaction of break downs. Pinning exclusive blame on Myers for those back door goals is like blaming a multicar pileup on the last driver who got hit.

The deep safety missed a tackle on a running back on a long touchdown run after he ran through the other 10 guys.

Responses like this aren't a good look for you. So you're telling me that the Flyers don't have anyone better than a player you claim SUCKS with an S, and doesn't get it and never will? Why am I not surprised.

What we can do is actually explore that. Find out if they actually do. If we take on that exercise, we'll find out that the statement that the Flyers have no one better on the team to protect is just another in a long line of poorly thought out comments.

Listen, I just gave you my top 8 predictions that have all been proven true, and that is just this year. How many of those so-called experts on the NHL network or ESPN have this kind of track record? Not many ... none in fact.

You can go down with the SS Myers if you like, but the player just got benched for the 3rd time this season and this time it was to let Haag (YES HAAG!) play in his place. Don't take my word for it, take AV's, he is the one benching him. And as I stated, I thought the Flyers D last night looked the best they have in a while .. any coincidence that Myers was not in the lineup? This will just be another in a long line of accurate predictions and player evaluations!

Thats because Brian Dawkins had a low football IQ and was really a dime package safety playing beyond his capabilities in a starting role.

Losing coverage/awareness or his coverage has no relation to hockey iq?
- Peter Richards

It’s not an easy position to play. When your young and you struggle you try to do more, when the answer is try to do less. Simplify things. Braun hit it on the head a couple of weeks ago, the young d are getting in their own way. As Far as Myers, I think for now the best spot for him is the press box. I’m not suggesting it should be an extended stay, but he’s not doing anyone , including himself, any good with his play. Confidence can make some pretty talented players look stupid. Honestly I’m not sure what the Flyers have in Myers as we sit here today....but what I do know it’s hardly good enough and he needs to be much better.

That's it .. no more free ones for you. You know how those gambling sites work, they give you a couple of free picks and then they start charging you? Well, that is how its going to work from now on. I gave you all these free insights since the season started and they all HAVE BEEN proven true, so now you will have to start paying for them!

Honestly, this is too much fun for me ...

Hey did you watch AV's presser last night, if anyone is starting to unravel its him!

Predictions on what spot we pick at this year. Something in me tells me they’ll go on a tear and pick 13-15th range. It is the flyer way

Did I blame him? No not at all. This is hyperbole. And being taken out of context. Since you know. What exactly is his hockey iq?

Its the same reason why this team needs 52 shots to score a goal, they simply don't have players that can finish. That is why their PP is below average. That is why they lose most shootouts. Its not rocket science, get some snipers on this team for once and things will turn around. Its about drafting philosophy. Hextall always looked for 200 foot players, that's what he cared about. Fletcher I hope will realize this and start drafting snipers. If you have been watching the Phantom highlights, Foerster looks like a sniper, and actually shows creativity on his shootout attempts. He is exactly what this team needs.
- jd250

Agree on foerster, as well as Allison and Lyczynski will help next year.

Shouldn't have been a 5 no doubt but lets be honest his hit on Pagaeu Saturday night should have been a major and game misconduct so I guess it all evens out in the end

that would be normal, but this year I feel like the Flyers' plunge will reach terminal velocity and they won't be pulling out of the tailspin.

Then they will luck out in the lottery and move up to the 2nd pick, and draft the next biggest stiff they can find .. now that is the Flyers way!
