We gonna wait 6 years for him to maybe hit the mark? Pretty sure Zib and Panarin didnt sign up to wait for some 20 year old to maybe get “good”.

Take him, and a few assets and get someone that IS good. For all that Strome is deficient in, if we do retain him, our 3C and 4C have to make up for them. First and foremost we need a 3C that can actually play the center position, and can center the PP2.

I think Chytil is definitely trade bait for this team because there just isn't room for him to transfer to wing, while other teams may not have a problem with that

And again we revisit the Kings. C a plenty, however a lack of wing depth for the future. Chytil, D prospect and a 3rd for Kupari and a 4th? We will probably have to slight over pay for Kupari based on need.

Strome can play center on the PP2. They choose not to play him there because he has magic with Panarin. It's an active choice not to play Strome on the second unit, not a deficiency in his game.

I’ll counter with their “need” for wingers so they’d have to overpay......

Kupari is the best option out there. Already a few years older, fellow Fin for Kaapo, doesn’t seem to be a spot for him in LA, having a strong season in the minors. The Rangers and Kings have the top 2 prospect pools in the league, and if they make this trade work, both will remain that way. Worried they will want Krav after seeing him play. Just oozing with potential. Maybe a one for one?

Oh I know. Thats not me saying he cant do it, his offensive numbers prove it, just saying we cant have a PP1 thats so good, and a PP2 thats “winged”. We need a PP2 thats equally effective. L

effort, effort and effort. And you just want to root for him too.

Though I will admit he will have serious regression in goals next season.
