This is the first year in a long time where I have no idea what the rangers will do at the deadline. Could they buy and sell? Honestly have no clue. Could also do nothing which would be odd as well. - TPC
That whooping by the Pens definitely killed us. Had we won that game, looking at the standings now... Id say the Rangers might be buyers. However, with them being out of it, I could see them being minor sellers to accumulate more assets for the offseason. |

I also believe they will be sellers. I also don’t think it will anybody significant that would affect the core |

Gauthier, Hajek and Di Giuseppe might as well be moved. |

I don’t know a out any of them. I think teams thinking they may have a shot would want some depth. Maybe smith , Blackwell or Rooney , guys with a bit more experience. |
|
|
|
I think something bigger may happen at the draft or in the summer. They should try to capitalize on Panarin and zib in their prime |

I kind of hope Gauthier is moved, for TJs sake mostly. He needs to let go before he gets too attached lol. I know from experience |

I doubt the Rangers are gonna help a rival. - aecliptic
By next year the divisions go back to normal so is Boston really a rival? We’re not making the playoffs so we can’t even say it’s a team we’re competing for for the last spot. If Boston offers the best deal you take the best deal. |

I want Gauthier and Blackwell moved.
As much as I like Blackwell, Im done with seeing him play on the PP2 and taking time away from the kids. Im hoping this would open up a spot for Barron for the last stretch of games. Ill even go out on a limb and say Id like to see him C the PP2. |

It just makes no sense to trade Buch before the deadline |

It makes no sense to trade him at all right now. The only trade Id accept is one that brings us a significant upgrade over Chytil. |

Yea even Chytill I would wait for the summer. Open it up so you can deal with all 32 teams or however many there are now. Also gives you time to look at your team and your future cap status after you see what Seattle does. |

Thats why I say it would have to be significant. |

I wish he would turn pro, the National Championship is his, nothing left to prove

That would be awesome. Send him to Hartford for a year to develop even further. There’s a clear spot open on the left side. Don’t think Hajek has done enough to claim it. |

No reason to rush him. There is no way he would make the team next season, so let him go back for his junior year. It will be another year he can lift weights, train to get stronger and play top pairing minutes. Plus, why start burning up his ELC time? |

Hajek was the piece in the McD/Miller deal that the Rangers wouldn’t make without. What a disappointment he’s been. He looks like he’ll be a 3rd pair/7th dman type guy and have a decent career but definitely not the value we traded for him. |

Hajek just turned 23, I wouldn't completely give up on him yet. D-men and power forwards usually take longer to develop. |

For sure. I don’t mean he won’t have a future, just that it won’t be in New York. |

I don’t think he’s bad, I just don’t think he’s the shutdown dman they through they were trading for. I think he projects as a solid 3rd pair guy with maybe some upside to the 2nd pair. Not sure what his trade value is or if he even has much. |

I just want the Rangers to have control over him, he'll be 21 in October
K'andre Miller left school after 2 years and is thriving, but I do realize he's a freak of nature

it's unbelievable that the OHL still hasnt played a single game yet
luckily we only have one draft pick, Evan Vierling, that this effects
all of our other draft picks have played hockey, Will Cuylle would have been grounded too but he's been playing in Hartord, scored goal yesterday |

it's confirmed that Kucherov is healthy
if the league had any balls, Tampa should have to create 9.5 million in cap space by tomorrow |

Were gonna have a decision to make eventually between Miller, Lindgren and Jones. If Jones is as good as advertised, its gonna be impossible to keep everyone (Fox, Trouba, Schneider, Lundkvist included).
Were gonna have to make a Seth Jones type of trade eventually. |

it's harder to trade Jones, and Lundkvist for that matter until they are signed
especially Jones, he could refuse to sign until August 2023 and become a UFA if he really wants to |
