He was good after but the damage had been done. With great power comes great responsibility, he has shown himself to be great this season and it was his responsibility to settle the team and stop the bleeding, he couldn’t.

personally I kinda give Allen a pass, considering there were numerous games he played where he barely had any offensive support, but he still gave the team a chance to win... but yeah I agree, he should've stopped the 3rd goal (I think it was the 3rd?)

I like the positivity pete, it's often needed in this corner of the woods

Like I said earlier, this team is built for the playoffs, and I don’t think Bergeron is done yet.

No need to panic.

Lol you give him too many passes he needs to start owning it up, esp when Price is not around

meh, yes he let in a few softies here and there but he's been part of the solution more than the problem, especially considering he's a backup.. perhaps you're the one that's being a bit too critical of him lol

For a good backup which he is supposed to be as well as a starter in the past, he is supposed to make the key saves especially at the beginning of the game. He has made some key saves but it’s more when it’s 2-0 or 3-1. That key save at the beginning of the match sets the tone for the rest of the game. He needs goal support for sure I agree

the role of a backup is to give his team a chance to win, and that's exactly what he's been doing. the habs only managed to score 2 goals tonight, made some really dumb mistakes and took bad penalties, it is what it is

Half the team skated with little interest in anything other than the game being over.

Why do they keep old tired legs in for the second game of back to back games? Swap in some of those taxi squad guys, let them burn off some energy, while others get rest. They are losing these games now, and the schedule only gets more draining.

This is the way we will need to win these games 2-1 for the rest of the season. I expect both goalies to be able to hold us to this, backups or starter. Try to go on a Hamburglar run. He is the backup but I have high expectations of him as he won a cup which Price has not

ding ding ding! we have a winner!
I find she really listens to what players have to say, and picks up on it to ask the following question.
others have their pre-written 3 questions and go with it whatever players say.

I think it's more reasonable (and more of a winning strategy) to ask for a better offensive support and defensive coverage, but to each his own I guess

Definitely need offence and team defense no doubt I hold Allen to very high standards as he has won a Cup which Price has not. They are both capable starters to me and tonight WPG did not have that many shots or chances especially in the 1st

Allen isn't the starter, he's clearly established as a backup now... but as I said, to each his own
