Rangers where buzzing in the zone there.
Need Varly to make a save there.

- nyisles7

They were buzzing because the “identity line” wasn’t skating.

That was a hook on Pulock by Buchnevich when he stole the puck.

I know palmeri is good and all but he's not a game changer he's more of a need to be set up guy
- Upstate_isles

Agree. I'm also wondering if Zajac is a necessary fixture at this stage.
The Isles are completely punchless tonight. In the words of the great Jack Capuano: too many passengers

So I guess the Islanders tonight are identified as not skating

They Rangers want it more tonight,
- JimmyP

This team hasn’t played well for a while. Few shootout wins against crap teams. Played a couple great games against the caps but other then that they’ve been pretty much playing flat like this and managing to pull out some wins somehow. I can’t believe their record the last ten games but you can’t play like this more often then not and expect to win.

Rangers are all over the d to d pass in their own end and not giving the isles time and space

Yeah that and the islanders are completely lifeless and are so (frank)ing slow that they’re not making it hard for the Rangers to do that.

At least our top scoring line hasn't been giving up many goals!

That's all you can ask from your top line.

The only positive with this is maybe trotz will sit that pile of dog shat after this garbage. He’ll probably bench Nelson instead.

Isles have been sloppy on their entry all night. Rangers have done a good job of standing them up at the blue line

Clearly a sign that the addition of Leo is working!

Open lane to shoot islanders pass if they don’t have a lane then that’s the time to shoot. Makes sense.

Definitely couldn’t use Wahlstrom at the end there

Definitely not. Having these clowns that hate to shoot out there is the best path to a win.

It’s going to be really funny when Komarov is back out there on Sunday.

If Komarov is on the top line one more shift I may agree with you.
