Yeah he could be screwing with the other teams or maybe he’ll acquire Hall to really screw them or at least that could be a driving force of why he’s doing it. It wouldn’t shock me. As far as who he would bench I honestly have no idea and I’m sure whoever he decided to bench would most likely be someone I would think he shouldn’t be benching.

I think Dreger is like 78% full of it. Just the impression I get when I see him giving interviews. When he's just reporting exactly what he's receiving on his phone, he's fine. In the longer interviews, he goes off on all of this wild speculation and rarely clarifies what's based on things he's actually heard vs him just filling time with dart-board guesses.

To be fair, most of my opinion is based on one interview in particular that I saw years ago that ticked me off...and I don't even remember what it was about

I just remember he was losing an argument with someone and then out of nowhere he pulls out, "Well sources have told me [conveniently exactly the thing that helped him win the argument]." It was even more transparently a load of crap than I can make it sound here.

1) They haven’t done so on the multiple occasions that he’s been waived thus far.

2) No offence, but (frank) right off with that noise. Islanders only have one 2021 2nd.
