I agree but I don’t think he should be deployed as the ovechkin clone anymore. It doesn’t work. Try something else. I can’t stand us doing the same thing repeatedly on our languishing powerplay expecting a different result.

No agreed, he doesn’t have the one timer needed to be on the right wall. Wally has shown he does. Beau is pretty good as well off the left wall.

Wahlstrom was banged up vs the caps and if it were the playoffs he would have been in but its not so they gave him more time to heal.

He a premiere talent in all 3 zones. Love his game but I think he wants to shoot that 105 mph slapshot every time instead of getting it through and on the net. He 100 % has faked the shot and went to the net which I agree he does incredibly well. He just can’t finish this year. A bit snake but and gripping the stick a bit. He gets #1 I think they start coming easier for him.

Hes been taking the puck to the net a lot more he still can't score but he's creating a lot more and I think once he gets one he will get a bunch
