Bump from last thread.
It was a good goal.
If you watch it in slow motion, Perry does just a little twitch that made Campbell react and then just as he tried to reset into position, Perry slides it under his pad.
If anything, it was a marvel of a goal by Perry.
(frank)ing love him in Montreal.

Yep, I could never score 5 hole but the guys in the NHL make it look so easy a lot of times. |

56, I am getting it.
Wish I could get Pfizer or Moderna instead but my priority was to get a vaccine as quickly as possible. I expect the border to start opening this summer, and I think travellers are going to have to show some proof of vaccine? - Aetherial
My dad got the Pfizer, just a little bit of a sore arm. You’re going to get the AZ?
I’m not sure if I’m even going to get vaccinated, not sure 3 or 4 days worth of trials is enough proof for me. |

So according to Health Canada, AZ is 76% effective after first dose and 81% after second. With ICUs filling up, it’s important to get people vaccinated fast. Waiting any significant length of time for Pfizer or Moderna is crazy - Canada Cup
Easy to say when you got one foot in the ground. I'm not even out of my 30's. If I don't like what I'm seeing out of the AZ vaccine, I'll wait for one I trust more. |

From last thread:
But aren't we already right up against the cap?
CapFriendly says we have a projected cap space of $140,335 and a current cap space of $525,125.
Wouldn't putting Freddy on LTIR get us $4.5M in new cap space? - Atomic Wedgie
doesn't work that way unfortunately. I believe that's the reason that Dubas/Pridham haven't put Freddie on LITR.
decision time for Dubas... has to decide if Freddie is likely to return - if he isn't - then go get someone - can't go into the playoffs with Hutch as #2.

I don't know who you know who's had the vaccine.
I have yet to get it, but I have a few friends and family members here and in the US who have. They are all supposed to be good and effective. They are all tested somewhat, but obviously the really long-term effects of anything are, as yet, unknown.
The two friends I have who've had AZ both had wicked side effects for one day which laid them up in bed, but on day two they were fine again, and by day three had no lingering effects. The second AZ shot is supposed to kick your ass harder, but I don't know anyone who's fully vaccinated yet.
The other friends have had Pfizer and all have had a very minor go of it. Sore arm, a little tired - mostly okay.
Johnson & Johnson is the one-dose, so people like the idea of it, but I don't know anyone who has actually had it yet.
Based on the VERY little information I have, if you had a choice of Pfizer or Astra Zeneca, I'd take Pfizer. If you had the choice of only AZ, I'd take it rather than nothing. - Monkeypunk
I live in a non-brain dead area of the US... as of now 49% of adults (older than 18 I believe) in my state have had at least a single shot .
I had Pfizer ... no side effects with first injection, minor "tiredness" for 24 hours after the 2nd shot. I've heard of others who had some "flu like symptons" briefly after the 2nd shot. Haven't heard of anything worse that than.

Im reading negatives about it, and don't feel the need to get it when there are less news worthy options on the way.
That, and an arrogant blowhard like you said it would be stupid to wait. That cemented it. |

He could already have the deal ready just waiting for cap space.

So we’ve got 1,400 (up 236 today) in hospital with over 500 in ICU and more than 300 in ventilators, all younger than ever before. On the other side, people aren’t showing up for vaccination appointments because they’re shopping around.
So yeah, you wait for a “less new worthy option” and I’ll be the arrogant one. |

There's a Canada outside of Ontario, dumbass, and in this province I'd have to be 55 to get it anyways.
That's the thing, you sit here all day every day with your 5th grade sarcasm acting like you're the only one on earth who knows anything at all and talks down to anyone who doesn't see it your way.
But even at that point, that's the beauty of free choice. I don't have to take a vaccine that I'm not liking what I'm hearing just because a dedicated internet warrior like you says it's the only way. 🤷🏻♂️ |

*takes a bow*
Well really, it's a lot easier to say someone should be getting a vaccine with some negative press around it when you're 65+ as opposed to in your 30's. Different side of the spectrum, but some people have no respect for where exactly their soapbox is positioned.
Like me telling a 70 year old they should totally jump that fire hydrant with their scooter. Why not... It works for me? |

You’re an easy guy to talk down to.
I thought understanding the significance of getting people vaccinated quickly given the very scary situation the whole country is either facing or going to be facing might actually be of some interest to you in how you think about vaccinating yourself and actually exercise your free choice. You know, informed free choice. Obviously that was a stretch. |

My thought was to get the first one that I could. My wife is 55 so it will be May before her age comes up here in ns.
