Florida making trades. Let's go Dubas! I'm assuming he has a deal ready but is waiting close to the 12th for the cap space accumulation. - Aaron_85

I don't know who you know who's had the vaccine.
I have yet to get it, but I have a few friends and family members here and in the US who have. They are all supposed to be good and effective. They are all tested somewhat, but obviously the really long-term effects of anything are, as yet, unknown.
The two friends I have who've had AZ both had wicked side effects for one day which laid them up in bed, but on day two they were fine again, and by day three had no lingering effects. The second AZ shot is supposed to kick your ass harder, but I don't know anyone who's fully vaccinated yet.
The other friends have had Pfizer and all have had a very minor go of it. Sore arm, a little tired - mostly okay.
Johnson & Johnson is the one-dose, so people like the idea of it, but I don't know anyone who has actually had it yet.
Based on the VERY little information I have, if you had a choice of Pfizer or Astra Zeneca, I'd take Pfizer. If you had the choice of only AZ, I'd take it rather than nothing. - Monkeypunk
My pops got the Pfizer. He’s 87. He said, “I’m ready”, she said “I’m done.” I chuckled, shame on me. Anyway, he fealt nothing and had zero pain or side effects after. |

After all those shots on the news of those big ass needles, I was like ready to be a big brave boy and then nothing.
My wife was sure they stole her vaccine until her arm got sore the next day. |

It opened up a significant amount of cap for Florida to use for trades. According to CapFriendly, After the trade the #Panthers now have $4.1M in cap space, that is a whopping $18M in trade deadline space! |

That is quite a digression. I've read ahead in this thread, so I can confess that I've never really watched Mighty Ducks end-to-end . . . I mean, I've seen a number of scenes and basically stitched together the Bad News Bears of Hockey element starring Billy the Kid from Young Guns, which sounds like Youngblood which is ALSO a crappy hockey movie (even though it has Zezel, Stumpy and Joe Bowen in it).
But I also digress. - Monkeypunk
Youngblood is so bad it's good.
Mighty Ducks is just bad.
I do like how the Hamilton Mustangs hold a tryout during the Memorial Cup, and Racki doesn't get the spot so he goes and tries out for the Thunder Bay Bombers, who just so happen to also be having tryouts just prior to the Memorial Cup.

The Astra is being offered up before it expires. I qualified for the vaccine (Pfizer) in early February based on being a primary caregiver to someone in a long-term care facility. The wait at the hospital was less than 10 minutes, took longer to find parking and my arm hurt a little for 3 hours the next day.

Yeah. I have a friend @ Yonge & Eg who's 53. He qualified because it's a hot spot. He said his ex, who lives about a mile away, doesn't qualify because her region isn't considered one. |

So according to Health Canada, AZ is 76% effective after first dose and 81% after second. With ICUs filling up, it’s important to get people vaccinated fast. Waiting any significant length of time for Pfizer or Moderna is crazy |

Every goal is stoppable, for the most.
Not going to get into name calling and soft goal debate today. 🤣 - Garnie
Agreed. Most goals are stoppable, some goalies stop more than others, ALL goalies let in softies and have slumps.
And for the record, I'm probably harsher with criticism when it comes to goalies...definitely gets me more pissed off. It's PTGD (post traumatic goalie disorder) from Toskala and the Monster.
I've retired from the soft goal debates and name calling on these boards. No dead horse memes for me!
