Is it just me or does anyone else think the names being floated for the Leafs might not really help much, especially if Kerfoot gets moved to accommodate |

Hall, Foligno, Iafallo, would be substantial upgrades.
Plus I think Leafs get two forwards. |

I'm going to ignore your first post, and just respond to this one:
I agree, and I doubly agree on goalies.
I'm going to take Dubas at face value and believe that Andersen is coming back.
So you've got Cambell as #1, Andersen as #2, and Hutchinson as #3.
You aren't going to get a #1.
So you are trading for a #2 - who won't be as good as Campbell or Andersen.
So we are going to lay out assets to secure a #3?
If two goalies go down in the playoffs, you aren't winning a Stanley Cup. |

losing him as a UFA? Yeah, that would be worse.. I think it's too late for Buffalo to go on a run now. |

He thinks if NYI waited until this weekend they could have gotten Palmeri for a 2nd and those other pieces.
Says if Hall isnt moved until Monday he could see his price going to a 3rd and a prospect. |

I think it all hinges on Andersen.. I don't know what to make of it.. Is Dubas just saying this, so he doesn't overpay for a goalie on Monday? Or is it actually legit?

"But that doesn’t mean normal. Thomas isn’t sure what that word even means at this point. He’s endured ups and downs and only started to feel like his old self about two years ago. Oxygen therapy helped, Thomas said, and he believes plenty of special mineral water did, too. He wouldn’t have been able to make the trip to Washington to take part in this ceremony otherwise. Better doesn’t mean fully healed, though."

If they were to announce Andersen was done for the year, then the cost to get a goalie goes up. |

I've been wrong twice before, but I just don't think it could be a season-ending injury.
It was obvious that he was hampered by something in the leadup to being pulled out of the lineup - he even said so. The fact that he was pulled from the lineup at exactly the same time Campbell came back "proves it."
If I'm his agent, there's no way I let him continue playing with a serious injury.
It will be interesting to see what injuries are revealed at the end of the season.
I'd bet a pitcher of beer and a plate of nachos that Tavares was injured through that dreadful streak of games he had. |

I buy this stuff called dihydrogen monoxide from my local holistic medicine store.
The shaman there says it has special healing properties.
Well worth the $26.99 per litre. |

Dihydrogen Monoxide (DHMO) is a colorless and odorless chemical compound, also referred to by some as Dihydrogen Oxide, Hydrogen Hydroxide, Hydronium Hydroxide, or simply Hydric acid. Its basis is the highly reactive hydroxyl radical, a species shown to mutate DNA, denature proteins, disrupt cell membranes, and chemically alter critical neurotransmitters. The atomic components of DHMO are found in a number of caustic, explosive and poisonous compounds such as Sulfuric Acid, Nitroglycerine and Ethyl Alcohol.
https://www.dhmo.org/facts.html
What are some of the dangers associated with DHMO?
Each year, Dihydrogen Monoxide is a known causative component in many thousands of deaths and is a major contributor to millions upon millions of dollars in damage to property and the environment. Some of the known perils of Dihydrogen Monoxide are:
Death due to accidental inhalation of DHMO, even in small quantities.
Prolonged exposure to solid DHMO causes severe tissue damage.
Excessive ingestion produces a number of unpleasant though not typically life-threatening side-effects.
DHMO is a major component of acid rain.
Gaseous DHMO can cause severe burns.
Contributes to soil erosion.
Leads to corrosion and oxidation of many metals.
Contamination of electrical systems often causes short-circuits.
Exposure decreases effectiveness of automobile brakes.
Found in biopsies of pre-cancerous tumors and lesions.
Given to vicious dogs involved in recent deadly attacks.
Often associated with killer cyclones in the U.S. Midwest and elsewhere, and in hurricanes including deadly storms in Florida, New Orleans and other areas of the southeastern U.S.
Thermal variations in DHMO are a suspected contributor to the El Nino weather effect.
