Nobody said anything about two years, but I'd like to see more than fifteen or twenty games. I don't think that's unreasonable. If the Pens have an opportunity to upgrade their forward core with a proven legit player to make a serious playoff run then they should do it and not base it around a player who's played four games. - Rinosaur
Agree. Deadline is Monday, can't count on Zohorna yet. Might deserve more of a look next year if they lose some guys as I suspect. |

Bobby Ryan out for the season apparently. Sorry Feds, no 4th round pick coming back. - burgh4life87
im kind of glad (not for him personally... that sucks) but from a pens POV. Not worth spending an asset on imo. |

He would have been well worth a 4th. |

That’s always been the case lol. I’ve even been peddling good players like Fabbri. |

For me there’s probably only 3 true “untouchables” in the org. |

Bertuzzi is the most interesting from a Pens POV... Mantha as well... but probably only if we ended up shipping Zucker out in the offseason.

Malkin moves to wing on the rare occasions he plays with Crosby. No reason he can't LW with McCann.
Nice to hear Sullivan is at least considering expanding Blueger's role. He needs to be challenged, if for no other reason this team needs guys who can play multiple positions. |

It's so weird what the perception of being "soft" entails on here sometimes. Does Zohorna bang bodies and play with snarl? No, but that doesn't make him soft. If he didn't use his size to his advantage, then yeah, I'd say he's soft, but he's not afraid out there. He's just not a very physical player. - Rinosaur
Soft players disappear when refs put the whistles away and the hockey gets real. |
