To be honest, I’d rather see Kurashev on the PK instead of Suter. I like Suter, but he’s not our best defensive forward, not even close, Kurashev is much better defensively.

Bad night for the Hawks but that's okay. Our expectations were low this year and for the most part they've exceeded them. We've seen more improvement over the course of the season than any of us expected. We will probably have a lottery pick but better days are ahead.

Ha! I like Carlsson and if he was still on the team I'd be fine but again...he was going to be without spot or so it seems...and we need more top 6 forward prospects.

When it comes down to it...the trade is Carlsson for Borgstrom.

Not sure. They gave up nothing, tho. Connelly has put up 15-20 goals for the last 4-5 seasons leading into this one. Borgstrom might have caught the eye of the Hawks' Euro scouts and they get the benefit of doubt from me

I think we can say no playoffs yet again folks. Hope for a good draft pick and maybe free agent signings this summer. Not sure what to do about Keith, have to drop his minutes for sure and sign another strong defenseman .
