No so sure Hall is a pressing need, but he has talent for sure, maybe CBJ would have more to offer. Foligno, Savard, both UFA and Korpisalo (1 year left) all three for Dermott, Kerfoot, Anderson, Arguchintsev a 1st and a 4th. Salary retention to make it work. - winsix
i dont get the Korpisalo thing...pretty average at best. career .907
hasnt have a good season where youd think he is worth a shot
Hall becomes a need when a player like willy or marner goes down...just add depth. its going to happen

You are grumpy. Have you ever seen the Leafs mob Freddy after a game the way they have been mobbing Campbell? - winsix
I've seen every team in the history of hockey mob their goalie in the exact same way.
Do they love Campbell?
Yes.
Is this a compelling story line that needs to be repeated by every Leafs reporter for three weeks?
No.
Would the answers be any different if you shoved a microphone in Matthews' face and asked him about Andersen or Marner or Thornton?
No. |

Chris Johnson reports that trading Andersen would be a problem because he is very well liked on the team, especially by the leaders - Canada Cup
He did live with Matthews during the lockout... |

He's leaving anyhow at the end of the year. If it makes you better, you do it.

Yes for sure.
In the first 3 years.
Also, Andersen hasnt had the underdog story that Campbell has. |

Too bad we haven't heard from that Ripped Fuel feller in a while... I know he is banned, but it would be interesting to hear how the Leafs suck and Buffalosers are the best... Similar to the Sens delusional fans. - bixll
He's now posting under "Blockhead." Which is quite fitting. |

Forgive me for sounding like the grumpy old man, but I'm getting a little tired of the "Everybody Loves Campbell" narrative.
It's lazy journalism.
You shove a microphone in Matthews face and ask him how much the guys love Campbell, what kind of answer do you expect? - Atomic Wedgie
Well.
It's good soup at a low price....

You sign Hall if you think he’s still an elite forward. Like the Buffalo poster said, I’m not sure a year playing for Krueger proves he’s not. He’s still pretty close to point a game for his career. I trust Dubas and the boys on this. If they decide they’re pushing the chips in, I believe they’ll pick up the guy they want (subject to NMC) |

Last 3 years he only played 30 something games. Hasn't been that player for 4 years now. |

Who’s going to trade for an injured/supposedly done goalie?
Just LTIR him and let him walk if they think he’s done.

And Leaf fans would have traded Nylander at age 22 for any random top 4 D worse than any of our top 4 Ds right now when he had a bad year after holding out - RogerRoeper
It always amazes me how you assume ALL Leaf fans share the exact same opinions. Well everyone but you of course. |
