1. Farabee - potential top 6 forward, but was delegated to the 4th line tonight in a big game
2. TK - marginal top 6 forward
3. Patrick - 4th line, honestly should be demoted to the Phantoms
4. Lindblom - marginal 3rd liner, should be playing 4th line
5. Bunnaman - 4th liner, demoted to the Phantoms
6. Aube Kubel - 4th liner
7. Travis Sanheim - bottom pairing D
8. Phillippe Myers - bottom pairing D
9. Linus Sandin - taxi Squad
10. Tanner Laczynski - taxi squad
11. Carsen TwarynSski - demoted to Phantoms

Now there are players with potential on the Phantoms and in the system, and we will have to wait and see what happens with Frost, but this is the reality of where our young talent is right now. Not pretty.

No, you're right, this game was the Flyers game and they somehow snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. They just don't have IT, whatever IT is that makes you a winner. Fletcher needs to remake this team in the off season, its as simple as that.

I know everyone hates Marchand, but you just knew he and Bergeron were going to have great games tonight after last night's ending. I said going into this game if you shut that first line down you win the game and they failed miserably. Always great when you get out goaltended by a 4th stringer too. Sanheim has the talent to be a very good top 4. Tanner Laczynski ....let’s give him some time. Farabee is another really good top 6 prospect-trending towards 1rst line. Patrick and Lindblom will get a chance to rebound next year...I’m not sure what happens there. Myers has the tools, but again I’m just not sure if this seasons a mirage or is this what this kid is.
The other guys have all shown glimpses....lot of quantity there...hopefully some late blooming quality.

There ya go .. a true optimist in the house. I wish I had your optimism. I did post TK is a marginal top 6 forward, so he has room to grow but this has been a tough year for him. I also posted Farabee was potentially a top 6 forward, but he has slipped big time over the past few weeks, so he is going to have to learn how to play consistently. Patrick and Lindblom are what they are, if either are still here next year I am sure thy might show some improvement, but they will struggle to consistently stay in a good top 9 IMO. Myers has the size, reach and skating skill, but he sucks, I have no belief in him.

So, I'm curious....understanding that this is your view on the younger players, I'm curious to know what kind of changes you're expecting Fletcher to be able to make (that will make much of a difference)? You have 2 guys locked in with nmc, and a handful of other vets that are hard sells due to the money attached to them. If the younger players are all marginal in your view, realistically, how are you moving anybody on this roster? They can't just trade bad players for good ones, nor can they force teams to take a guy like Jake or JVR without matching money and players likely in similar situations.....so are you dealing prospects and picks? That's why as much as we all would like change, realistically it's going to be hard for Fletcher to pull off drastic changes....so if you can't really change the team, what do you change?
