perfect time for the break. LTIR Gally and go grab someone to replace him. when he returns at playoff time. no worries about the cap.

I think they can replace him internally, i’d use the LTIR to go get a puck moving D though

I did...but he did say at times, I don’t think he’d move him permanently, maybe just for the odd shift here and there as he did tonight. And I really hope that’s all

that will depend if they need a goal or not imo. if DD cuts his bench, he may play kk RW on the top9

This may work out well for us come playoff time if we can get a puck moving d but have to do it without the spark plug on offense prior to that

For sure this also help bolster their chances of landing Ekholm with Gallagher out till the playoffs
