Nice. I need to up my wine game. I’m good at drinking and collecting but my knowledge is trailing behind

Not likely to learn anything on Social media. But some of the people I follow drink some amazing wine, all the time! Fun to live vicariously through them while I’m swilling plonk (by comparison)

I got busted on one of those traffic cameras proceeding through an intersection on red. Got a few notices. Ignored all of it. That was close to two years ago. Now I got an Enforcement Officer with Dye & Durham trying to serve me.

They must have had a very difficult time trying to find me because I’m essentially off the grid. Practically invisible. All they have is my phone number.

It’s all horse poop because I’ve renewed my licence and insurance with ICBC in the meantime and was told nothing. I wonder if the collections agency “buy” my debt and try to collect it...

The most useless networking platform there is.

True, but it’s amazing that it’s the primary tool most of those headhunting/recruiting companies use to find potential employees. Mine is absolute poop but I’m listed as a PM with the BC government and that’s enough to get calls/emails all the time.

Goes to show how lazy those recruiters have become.

Not just lazy, but not very smart either, if they don't know the PM is federal and a premier is provincial.😉

They absolutely do buy bad debt for pennies and then try to scare you into paying.

I was going to write “astronaut” but thought it too much. Went for something more realistic like prime minister.

that’s what I thought. Lawyer friend told me to ignore those camera fines because they are essentially non-enforceable. We’ll see.

it’s funny because it’s true. I may have the worst LinkedIn page ever. I have no social media/networking presence whatsoever. Pathetic really.

I'm proud of that.

Horvat was a solid start lol

But at this Stage I'll take Horvat, Boeser, Petey, Hughes, Demko, Pods and Hogs over the Flames current trash anyday!!

I watched the 1st season and enjoyed it.
Really well done series.
Can't say i'd be interested in watching a race still.

- dbot

I'm just starting 3rd season.

I watch the occasional race but I haven't followed it since 2013 when Vettel ran away with it.

I used to watch all sports though, even Tennis.

In case you are lurking, I see your Flyers got caught by the Rangers today.
Both your teams looking for a top 10 pick.

Normally you can't renew your license or insurance with paying the fine...it would be on your registration and insurance file. Odd but if you found a way around that cash cow good on ya man. Whenever I get a photo radar ticket in the mail I just key the next city photo radar vehicle I see...seems to balance out.

As a result, Pierre LeBrun notes in TSN’s latest Insider Trading segment (video link) that Blues GM Doug Armstrong is indicating that he’s open to moving some of his pending unrestricted free agents,

The Blues are sitting 3 points out of a playoff spot and are interested in selling. Van is in 25th spot and have no interest in selling anyone it seems. FFS

You need interested buyers before you sell anything. We're presently sitting with a team full of sick players not playing hockey. What can we sell?

Canucks have been sitting near the bottom of the standings for a months now. That was before they were sick and Jim Benning decided to wait and see where they are closer to the deadline.

Yes, but pretty much the entire league is doing the same wait and see this year. Not much action at all from any GM. Buffalo is just starting it's fire sale. It probably would have started 3 weeks ago under normal circumstances.

Darren Dreger

MW prospect Marco Rossi. Recent tests indicate he’s getting close to being able to resume light training again. All involved expect he will be ready for camp. Still working with specialists in Austria and Minnesota in the quest for full recovery.

According to a twitter user.
marco unfortunately developed myocarditis which is a condition that can sometimes happen following a viral infection. it is seperate from covid itself. So far only 2 players are known to have gotten myocarditis after having covid
