Halton has started booking 60-55 Pfizer-Moderna after just 3 days at the 65-60. Things are moving quickly. We will reach the 75% of country immunized before most of Europe. Going the 4 month delay between shots was the right move. - Canada Cup
There are still over 1.4M doses of the vaccines in storage.. Hopefully, they move quicker |

Many Freddy really stinkin up the joint.
how far ahead would the leafs be with Campbell all season?
Campbell - 9 games
Quality start .778
GSAA 9.1
Hutch - 8 games
Quality start .625
GSAA 2.3
Freddy - 23 games
Quality start .409
GSAA -7.5 - senstroll
We should have signed Markstrom, or traded for Murray or or or...
Pretty sure goalie stats are dependant on way too many things to make much meaning of...but that’s just me.
Campbell > Vasilevsky
Just give us the cup already 🥰

He's a good fit and I wouldn't get rid of a 1st unless Ullmark is coming back and they're retaining on both.
Also, our 1st will be in the high 20s. Anyone we draft in that position is years away from making the NHL.
Swing for the fences, baby! - mjones242
agree Hall/ulmark combo deal is ideal.
this is from mar 27, but Hall is due for a rebound of luck...like Tavares is having now

I'm not saying we are making the playoffs, but...
If we go 9-8 over our remaining 17 games, Vancouver would have to go 19-0 to catch us, and neither Calgary nor Ottawa could catch us. |

It was an absolute clusterfrank at Sunnybrook a month ago, in terms of data management.
They were entering in patient information by hand - information I had provided twice before.
They literally checked my parents' appointment on a computer - I could see all the info on the screen - then we walked 10 yards to a desk where they fed all the info in again.
I lost my franking mind. |

Good Lord, that sounds ridiculous.
I am mystified why people who registered after me actually got a response and I have not. They are the same age group, no underlying conditions. I got 3 confirmation from the 3 pharmacies so I know I was properly waitlisted.
What a mess.
I hear the vaccinations sites are getting better though. |

I am not even sure Leafiness can overcome those odds.
Leafiness could still see us fail to win a playoff series though.

Yeah, I heard someone yesterday say that the two experiences they have had were night and day. I don't blame the province for the rollout confusion. It is pretty (frank)ing tough to build a solid machine when you are being fed a trickle and then told to drink out of the firehouse.
I do blame the province for the way too little, way too late closure decisions. For them to say they are considering pubic health first and foremost is simply lying.

Canada now 54th in vaccines per 100
Every person I know who signed up for the 55+ Astra Zeneca last Friday has either been vaccinated, or has heard back from the pharmacy(s).
except me. - Aetherial
I just signed up early this morning, but not for the AZ. First shot is April 23rd. Second is August 13th. |

Where do you live and what age Woder?
Was this a public health unit or was it at a pharmacy.
I can see what is coming for me. Vaccines will be too late and the governments will open the borders... but I wont be able to cross because of my vaccine status.
I know people younger than me, no health conditions, work from home, who have had their first dose. |

I signed up to the Halton update system which told me I could register online on Friday. The site told me that this hospital was quicker. The online registry was easy, I just needed my health card number. It took about 10 minutes. I did it at minute on Friday and got the first booking time.
The only hiccup was they gave the wrong hospital entrance so we sat and waited right till appointment time since it was empty then saw it was wrong and saw lineup.
Still, 5 minutes to get in. They had our information in the system already. Our follow appointment date was already set. They confirmed our information with health card, went over health information and boom.
Also, you don’t even feel the needle. All those big ass needles that look like they go through your arm. I said go ahead and she said I’m done.
They give you a sticky with a time 15 minutes after shot. You sure and wait. They print a confirmation, email another. It was really well done. |

Only question is whether Ford can live up to his 1 million per week here. We have the doses/deliveries of Phizer/Moderna to be done by first week of June. Add in some J&J and some AZ for those willing to use it and it's all down to the Province.
I'm a supporter of the 'get it into the teachers vaccinated' movement. Need these kids in school. We could have them all vaccinated in a weekend. |
