Give him and an extra year and $4m and then put him on LTIR when he finally runs out of steam. - annoyed
Or sit him out like Kuch with the Lightning. Bring Hym back for the playoffs. |

Signed Muzzin for 31-35 @ 6.9%.
The right defensemen fit into different model structures.
You don't want to end up with too many old unmovable contracts, obviously, but I couldn't imagine a guy like Hamilton being unmovable at 34.
Like anyone, I like Hamilton. If you could get him at a reasonable term for an amount that makes sense . . . like $7.5x5, then I think you do it. I just don't know where the market moves in a flat cap era. Lots of teams would have interest, but how many have a lot of financial flex. I know some will have much more to offer . . . - Monkeypunk
was talking about Hyman..but yeah, Dmen are different..at least to me. In that I dont care so much about their scoring... but a forward moreso, and thats what I mean by decline...their scoring goes down...and a 5 mil forward becomes..a problem.
also...PP time blurs a lot for dmen..when it comes to points

for me, now that the D has been tightened up...he really sticks out in his own end or playing odd man sit. he wil want/get 7+ im sure.
id rather have another Brodie - senstroll
Fantasy thought ...
Is there an excellent young 'tender you could trade Rielly for? If so you make that trade and with the money you're saving in net you re-sign Hyman and sign a replacement on D.

MON announces Carey Price will not go to TOR. Was injured last night, stayed in game. Cayden Primeau joins team. Hope is it’s not a severe problem. - TheMussel
Honest to goodness, I read this in the context of trade, not roadtrip. |

Lets assume Freddy is gone.
in the off season, which one of these do you do?
assuming can only afford 1..and these are the only options (no, trading willy is not one of them)

They can go after Ullmark 4yrs/16 mil type of deal in free agency - dmnted
I can’t see going into a season with a goalie pair with less than 200 games between them. I’m leaning towards moving Kerfoot and Rielly in the off-season |

Yeah, we all saw it last night.
He stayed in the game but something felt off in his movements.
Allen/Primeau will do fine until he recovers.

It started with a specific play, you saw him being in pain. And then he looked uncomfortable moving forward.
Still played great, but you could tell his right to left movements were not as fluid. |

I dont believe Hall is a good fit and I definitely wouldn't waste a first on him. - Fakepartofme
He's a good fit and I wouldn't get rid of a 1st unless Ullmark is coming back and they're retaining on both.
Also, our 1st will be in the high 20s. Anyone we draft in that position is years away from making the NHL.
Swing for the fences, baby! |

Halton has started booking 60-55 Pfizer-Moderna after just 3 days at the 65-60. Things are moving quickly. We will reach the 75% of country immunized before most of Europe. Going the 4 month delay between shots was the right move. |
