The level of frustration that this type of non-officiating creates for me is unbelievable. Why can't they or won't they just do their jobs? It makes the game better for everyone when you call that poop. It's safer. It's better. It's faster. There's more offense. It's just stupid.

Even with the penalty, could feel that coming a bit, Leafs were getting a bit sleepy and the Flames were still hitting.

Unfortunately that is game management, don't make any calls to keep it even because the Leafs don't take penalties. Flames were also down so making a call there would potentially "decide the game". Still down so no reason to have a make up call.

After the second goal, I felt the Leafs were getting a bit sleepy and protecting the lead while the Flames were making a point to finish their checks.

Some times it would be nice to have the best face smasher in the league. It would be worth the odd loss.
