I work from home as well and if I don’t get up and get dressed, I feel like I’m sleepwalking through the day, just can’t not get out of comfy clothes if I want to be productive

see i don'treally want to be productive as much as i want to stay in my comfy pajamas. lol

but it's pandemic related. i was 100% from home for a few months, and then eventually i went to 2 days per week in the office, then a couple weeks ago i went to 3 days per week in the office. supposed to be back 100% on may 3rd.

I've worked from home for 9 years now, and have found a way to be productive during the day. Also, at one point, I was wasting 3 hours a day commuting (traffic, depending which office I had to go to work at), so that was a big win for me.

In the last 5 years it has also been a blessing, as I have been able to move back to Montreal to care for my mother while she went through cancer treatments and other illnesses.

The downside, I am not as social as I use to be, but as I get older, I think I am fine with that.

EDIT: Also, I get up a 5AM and am done by noon most days, with the occasional call in the afternoon.
