Ratcliffe has been often used the 4th line and PK since the middle of last season. He also went a little awkwardly into the boards on Saturday night.
I don't know if Willman will see any time in the NHL next season, but what he's done for the Phantoms this season has been outstanding. An older player than most prospects (age 26) but he's been a catalyst for LV.
When I asked Brent Flahr about Willman's NHL signing for the Prospect Pipeline podcast he said, quite simply, "If we didn't sign him, someone else would have." - bmeltzer
Thanks Bill,
I saw him get hurt and new something was up right away, he wasn't skating the same after he hit. I am pulling for the kid, he could be a force on the ice.

One save, one goal, one hit, one block, one shift, one period, and won game at a time.
Let’s go Flyers!

Will they be able to string together consecutive "good" games? Hasn't happened in a long time

Will Pastrnak get another hat-trick? Marchand? Which Bruin will end their (insert number here) games without a goal? - corduroy

Odds are pretty good Morin is going go with Frederic and/or Tinordi, especially given how much is on the line these next two games. |

Really glad to see Morin sticking in the lineup.
He makes some mistakes, but at least we're not getting pushed around all over the ice. - Nh_kong
Margin for victory starts to shrink this time of year. Morin played well for the most part, but that penalty he took... probably cost them the game. |

The chances of losing a 6th straight game to a one line team is minuscule.
Not to mention without Rask, the B's goaltending has been the poops. |

And I would argue that doing nothing on the extended PP in the first including a 5 on 3 cost them the game. If you didn’t score a minimum 3 goals, look to see if you missed big chances. If you let in 3 goals in regulation, see if any were very preventable.

The Bruins have a strong defensive system but their defenseman are weak. The best bet for the Flyers is to get pucks in deep and work the forecheck to generate quality scoring chances. And the Flyers need to score on the PP!

I agree! When you don't score goals every mistake is amplified.

Morin, I want him playing.
What I've (may ) seen is that upon his arrival, the puck tends to depart. Not necessarily a turn over but a 'sudden change in plans'.
While I won't say the other team gets weak kneed looking up, but they do know the kid will hockey hit you and follow up with a right cross. His stick adds another, literal, dimension to his game. He seems to be calm and isn't doing 'panic' much.
He isn't quick but he is fast enough.
6'7" dudes don't normally do quick, the nerves are too long, but they can do fast.
I apologize to NBA guys but then you aren't wearing skates.
If he just maintains his space, (clean up on aisle.....) he can be legit.
If he scores, light up the streets, there's a party! |

he has an identity, he brings that identity to the team. The team really as no identity .

we all do. Jones hit on it the other night. Morin brings something the Flyers don't have but really need. Much Like no one thing is the reason for the Flyers awful play of late....one small move won't fix things but it's going to take a bunch of small steps to get things fixed. Having the other team have to pay a price to go to the front of the Flyers net is a step in the right direction.

I've thought Morin has played pretty Solid since returning. He's Conditioning and positioning will get better as he moves along. Defensive Dmen never get the appreciation they deserve these days with the Advance Stats crowd. |

This is where the veteran players have to lead the team. 28,93,25,13 have to out perform the other teams top players. The younger players need to chip in and grow into that role. The best players need to be the best players most games. If not time to look at 2021 mock draft!
I’m thinking good thoughts! |

There's no other word for it than "extraordinary" that this site hasn't seen a single major upgrade or 2.0 since like 2005. I don't even mean it as a slag, it's like time traveling every time I'm stop by. |
