Aight, just finished the 3rd period on NHL Highlights (man are we lucky to have Gord/Ray).

Hutch was actually solid tonight.

That 2nd goal was a hot shot in a perfect spot that he'd like to have back, but other than that, you can't complain about Hutch really at all this year.

Guy has way more starts than he should.

Bad goals happen.
Hutch was fine. Played well.

True, but the powerplay hasn’t scored in 11 games.

At this point there is no bad ideas.

It’s more of a general comment about Poulin

Lebrun says they are confident that Freddie will be back and ok and will only make a move if the situation changes.

Friedman says Dubas has a deal for a top six guy in his back pocket but is waiting for clarity on the goalie situation or maybe a better deal.

The way Willie and JT are playing, adding a sniper would make that line lethal.

- Canada Cup

Yup
I doubt they trade for goalie and getting a top 6 forward to play with jt and wille would be a nice add. Move Chuck down to the 3rd line

The Athletic is dirt cheap. You fellas should make the investment.

Story summary:

Everything came easy to Campbell until he hit the OHL (after being drafted 11th overall by the Dallas Stars).

He couldn’t handle the adversity. Kept trying to force it - which lead to sloppy play and took a huge mental toll on him.

Dallas traded him to LA - a “mercy trade.”

LA built him back up - taught him to not dwell on the negative. Not to worry about every goal.

I hate every site I go to that sits behind a paywall. I refuse to pay for readily available news.

I'm happy to pay for the Athletic because it contains better analysis, evaluation data, player stories, and generally much higher quality writing than any of the other sites. I would also highly endorse it. They deserve to be paid for what they're doing.

That 2nd goal was pure beer league. Giving credit where credit is due he made some good stops after that but I was convinced that 2nd goal was going to be the 1st of 2 or 3 of those.

I still hate his rebound control and would prefer to have a JC / FA combo.

what does duby have up his sleeve for the trade deadline?

I always wondered, but according to Steve Simmons article, it was Dubas who made the deal with Tallon (terrible GM) for Hyman

While Freddy is definitely an upgrade over Hutch, his rebound control isn't much better.
