Frankly, I think it’s silly they haven’t given him some mins this season as he would be one of the obvious options to substitute in if one of the D goes down. I mean, they couldn’t dip back into the Marincin well, could they?!

Hope the Leafs hold on to him and he gets a legit shot next season on the 3rd pair.

I don’t see why he wouldn’t get a legit shot next year. He’s routinely been the marlies best dman for like 3 years.

They likely lose a dman in the expansion draft so they will need someone to fill in

Hutch sure seems to kick rebounds into high danger areas a lot.
