Aren't all manufacturers aiming to be strictly electric by 2030 or something? I know Honda is striving to not have any natural aspirated vehicles for sale by then, which would mean Acura as well. Toyota has been in the electric game a while, obviously as has Lexus. It's only a matter of time before all are electric outside of commercial vehicles imo

lol I actually agree that a start is good. Even many Albertans are on board with this from my perspective. I would totally invest in an electric or hybrid if it makes sense. But not do it because it's trendy or whatever. Has to be right.

All my buddies in oil and gas Know diversification is coming. And I agree it's time for Alberta to start thinking outside the box a bit and get current. It will happen but a slower process here. The Oil and Gas industry will never be what it once was that's for sure at this point.

Can't see Kenney getting re-elected at this point. Yes he did get a bit unlucky with Covid and pipelines being cancelled and such but again he doesn't think outside the box or beyond that. Kenney just tried to follow the Ralph Klein binder of cut cuts cuts and it's failing miserably here. When Ralph Klein did it economy was booming and times were goos and there was major over-spending by the previous govt's. There is a time and place to do those things and Kenney's advisors have their head in their asses. Notley was equally bad as her over-spending was out of control basically 96 billion in debt over here 4 years. Not an easy mess for Kenney to clean up but he went about it the wrong way completely. But now we will probably cycle back to an NDP govt and post Covid that won't be a good thing IMO but we'll see where it goes lol

Evolution suggest some may be ahead of us and some behind. I guess it depends on which group we make first contact with.

However, life on our planet is far more predictable than it is throughout the galaxy.

At a certain point, you don't even need climate history to see the globe is warming. Where I live the difference in 2 degrees means rain vs snow for several months a year.

The city in Canada that holds records for largest snowfalls has been reduced this year to using my snowblower 4 times total. 1 bad winter in the past 7 years, 1 average and 5 mild.
