They are a really solid team in their own zone. Flyers continue to struggle in coverage. To me that’s the biggest difference between the two teams. The Islanders just play a real smart game.

I don't even blame the point guys. There has to be guys cutting into open areas or to the net. The Flyers net front guys just stand there hoping for the double tip.

I do. Provorov has zero creativity at the point. Most of the time he's not even looking to shoot to draw a defender in. He just laterally skates 3 or 4 strides towards Giroux before passing it to him. So easy to defend.

Can you remember the last time this team went out and took control of a game. Seems like any win is a wild scramble or an ot win. Just a bad team dynamic.

Sure there has. Flyers have had a few quality chances. Not many but a few. The Isles don't make mistakes. The Flyers have.

Team as a whole just seems disinterested. Sam’s fight was about the only emotion shown by a Flyer in the past 20 games.

My defense next season would include Provorov, Sanheim, Myers, Morin. Hagg would be a 7th defenseman. Hopefully York can play.

Definitely would look for an upgrade to play with Provorov.

To me, they, even with Lee, embody the pinnacle of what happens when you don't have superstar talent but have everything else: teamwork on both ends of ice, cohesiveness, good goalie, good coach, etc. Last year was likely their peak with this roster.
