Ive been the conductor of the Morgan Barron hype train. I said it before Ill say it again, I see this kid turning into a Jordan Staal type player. Big, smart, solid on both ends of the ice, can bring the physical, not flashy, not gonna burn you with speed, just gonna work kinda player.

The issue here is, will they get quality type minutes where theyll actually be able to play? If Barron comes in and plays 5mins on the 4th line vs playing 20mins in the AHL on the top line, which one is helping him more?

I think Barron is more likely of the two, don't you? I mean Center is a lot easier to crack on this team.

I really like Barron too, but I think his potential here is bottom 6, where Kravs fits somewhere in the top 9. I think playing barron on the 4th line actually makes alot of sense, because it will probably more mirror the assignments he will get throughout his career here. Even without Strome, got to figure he will be the 3C here.

I see him as a very good 3C. Id like to see a line of LAF, Barron and Krav… the 3 are different type players that wouldnt clash and I could see it meshing well.

They gotta do Kreider, Chytil, Krav on that line and put LAF on that top line. LAF needs a chance to play with the real Zib.

Gauthiers rough game yesterday may open up that spot tomorrow.
