I agree. I was never an advocate for the Rangers pushing for the playoffs. I want to win every game. It's inherent in my hockey blood. But as a fan, I recognize reality. I am hopeful for this team currently. The number of players that are showing intelligent and talented hockey is great when you take away the blinders of only trying to win is great.

That's my take.

Yea I agree. But just more Kravtsov and Laf down the stretch and less Blackwell would be a nice way to do it lol

Yep. Laf looks more assertive.

I said this earlier, if Laf and Kravs continue playing on the same line, I just get a sense that we may see/hear Laf to Kravs for a goal.

Kravs did not disappoint is shooting the puck tonight.

Ullmark stole the game for Buffalo. 9/10 times a shot like that goes in.

Buffalo looked like a different team tonight and the Rangers didn't play with urgency for the most part.

They burned all their urgency in the first 15 minutes of the game. They just didnt respond well to when Buffalo pushed back. Mental fragility.

Blackwell had the same ice time as Panarin tonight. I like the guy, but get the (frank) out of here with that.

Sick of always discussing ice time, but how do both play 18 minutes?

Wow, I was not expecting to see that stat.

They better not be showcasing Blackwell for the trade market at the detriment of the team and costing them wins.

Showcasing for April 12??

The one thing we need out of a 4th line is energy and hitting. During the game is was really wanting Blackwell and Rooney to hit the poop out of their defensemen. Did not happen. Sorry Gauthier is not a 4th liner.

If it’s for a mid draft pick, way more valuable to keep him. A bottom 6, developed, face off winning center prospect... go for it.

Im also fed up with seeing Blackwell centering the PP2.

If there really is that little faith in Chytil at C that he cant even center PP2 over Blackwell? Then whats the point of playing him at C at all?

I want to see Morgan Barron between LAF and Kravtsov.

We already have Morgan Barron, kid is having a very solid season in the AHL.

Chytil can't win a faceoff. I want him to work super hard on that this off season.
Barron should get a legit shot in camp next season. Hell, I'd replace Chytil with Barron at this point.

Not sure I would. If Chytil can return to pre-injury play his forechecking and possession skills are much better than Barron. Though, i do like the idea of putting a wing that can win faceoffs on a line with him. I do not get why this kid is so retarded on faceoffs.

Next few games are do or die. If we don’t win out from here to the deadline makes sense to unload some pieces. I wonder what kinda haul we can get for Buch at the deadline if they decide to go that route.

I still think Buch is a summer trade. We need to move him for a center. More teams will be willing to move pieces then. Contenders aren’t trading crap at the deadline

Makes sense, maybe packing him and one of the D prospects and make a splash. Only benefit to moving him at the deadline is getting more ice time for some of the kids who they do plan to be here long term.
