Id play who Evers better at it out of McCann and Zucker on the offside and unload for a top 6 scoring LW. The more I think about it the more I think that our best bet to buy low on a legit game changer if his market value is truly tanked is Taylor Hall.

ZAR is shooting at 17.5% and only producing 1.2 pts/60 at 5v5. Tanev is shooting at 16.7% and producing 1.5 pts/60 5v5. Tanev’s scoring rate is actually respectable 3rd line output but it’s being driven by an inflated shooting percentage. ZAR is still producing at 4th line caliber at 5v5 despite an even more inflated shooting percentage. I love them in a checking role, but so far Blueger’s the only one who has underlying numbers indicative of a bigger role.

Now don’t get it twisted. ZAR and Tanev are having great seasons and I love them. I just don’t feel comfortable with them as the 3rd line going into the playoffs. That’s not deep enough scoring depth. Having a couple of fringe third liners over achieving on the 4th line would be an excellent spot to be in.

Fair enough. I don't really expect them to maintain this. I'd bump up ZAR's number myself since so much is goals.
