just saying... it would be better going forward to expose Kerfoot as opposed to exposing either Mikheyev and Engvall for example - BorjeFan4Ever
I didn't miss the point. I respectfully disagree with you.

Pretty sloppy game last night. Leafs played excellent defensively. Morgan Reilly is not playing up to his level of play seemingly. We will need him to get his game together if they make the playoffs. |

There was one play where he chased a guy up to the blueline, leaving a guy standing alone in front of the net.
Pretty sure Keefe doesn’t want him to do that. |

nice tidy 3-1 win. Kept the Jets to the outside, not many dangerous chances.
I feel like the Leafs have a good chance against any team in the div come playoffs.
except maybe Ottawa..for some reason
so thats good |

or maybe the Leafs have gotten rid of the other sloppy crappy D and finally have some stability with Muzzin, Brodie and Holl...and Morgan just sticks out more now
no more Gardiner, Zaitsev, Ceci, Marincin, Barrie who look worse at times in their own end |

Possibly. He doesn't seem to be moving the puck as well as in the past. |

now you're thinking...
hopefully Dubas learned something about the waiver wire this past couple of days.
Philly waives the Gostisbehere (who has a CAP hit of $4.5M)... which makes it impossible for about 28 teams to possibly claim him... so next time he needs to waive someone it should be Kerfoot at 3.5... rather than losing Boyd. - BorjeFan4Ever
he was waive for the taxi squad but didn't make it. |

Except that Kerfoot is better than ghosti and boyd and doesn't really have a horrible cap hit, he'd most likely get picked up. |

I liked when the one Jet guy hit the other one. - Canada Cup
that was Dubois hit his own Dman and took him out of the game |

def dont feel the same dread in the 3rd period when the Leafs are leading (that 1 ottawa game notwithstanding) ..massive improvements
https://twitter.com/NickD.../1377444134575861764?s=20
wonder whats the biggest reason?
Can division?
Stronger D, Brodie in, Ceci/Barrie out?
better coaching/gameplan?
players just maturing and starting to get it?
magic?

Matthews saw OV coming in the rearview mirror and is giving it a go. It would be cool to finally have a Leaf win a meaningful award...again. |
