Are you sure about that

Well we’re not the Toronto Maple Leafs from 2006 to when they drafted Matthews, so fairly certain

I can't imagine Fletcher is thinking anything else but "I have to sell and sell hard!"
- jd250

There is very little that he can sell. The real question is if he still thinks he should be a buyer. This team is done.

Worst regular season loss in the history of the franchise?

This is worse than the one to the Sabres in 2006 that preceded the overhaul.

Not one but TWO 6-1 losses to the freak'n Buffalo Sabres, the so-called worst team in the league. So what does this make the Flyers?

Anyone who doesn't think it has to have their head examined.

I repeat. We’re not the Toronto Maple Leafs from 2006 to 2015:

There's still 3 minutes left for Buffalo to tally another.

I’ve been a Flyers fan since 1969 this group may be the worst group I’ve seen. There is something serious wrong in the locker room. I don’t see any leadership with this group. The core veteran group should be leading by example, skating hard, sticking up for each other, holding themselves accountable. This group is lazy, selfish, feel sorry for themselves and give up when push comes to shove. This could be a big reason the younger players never develop to their potential in this environment.

The last few weeks have been the worst example of team leadership! I have no doubt 28,93 are nice people, family men and nice members of the Philadelphia community but team leaders they are not.
I would love to hear honest comments from past leaders like Dave Poulin, Bobby Clarke who led by example!

I’d rather be the Sabres trying to build something than this franchise continually poopting their pants and acting like they don’t stink.

Logical thinking. I didn’t think any of these would still be out here

In two games against Buffalo, the Flyers have been outplayed in 5 out of 6 periods.
- MJL

I kind of think AV as lost this team, and I sure waiving Ghost has something to do with it. There is something much deeper going on here, stuff that we just don't know, but there is a serious dysfunction deep within this team. Fletcher is going to have to make some serious moves in the off season, and I think they have to sell at the deadline.

Imagine saying this 10 days after they lost a game 9-0.

We got to the second round of the playoffs last season and we knew losing Niskanen was gonna hurt heading into this season.

Spot on, there is no leadership on this team. Its on Fletcher to pull off some magic and change things quickly. Time to move on from Giroux.

Good point.

The awfulness of the Sabres makes it even worse.

You keep saying that. What are they going to sell? They have one player that might fetch a decent return that is tradeable heading into the deadline. Other than that, a few that at best will fetch 4th or 5th round picks or a mediocre prospect.

Nisk is the smartest man om the planet. Patrick, Ghost and Lindblom are the most thankful men on the planet.

I say they switch out 3-4 more players next game. AV having 2 coaches below him might not be good for him, someone needs to go. The coaching and players are all bad.

Unless he can get someone with term that he thinks will be part of the solution, there is no way he is buying. This team is going no where, even getting McDavid wouldn't make a difference on this team, there is something seriously wrong here.
