I heard a funny story the other day that Harry Carey, Bob Ueker and Hawk harrelson went out drinking after a game like 40+ years ago, had a hot waitress and Ueker paid her a few hundred bucks to come to the table with her top off

so she does it and Harry carey is all like "hey!!! you have your boobs out!" and Ueker and Harrelson told him he was seeing things, she was wearing a blouse

Carey was so blitzed he believed them he was seeing things and apologized to the waitress, I was rollin

Nope... I read the 1st two pages and enjoyed the game in peace

Really? I think they do a fine job of breaking out. Sometimes it takes a while, but they rarely make big mistakes leaving the zone.

When they have possession is t has improved. I'm referring more to when they are under duress and regain possession they dont make the simple play to get it out. They usually have an issue there

All I know is that every youngster is improving and that the D zone play is so much better this year, and now that Zib seems to be back, this team has some lethal offense. The only gripe we can really have against Quinn and team is that they don't know how to win, yet. Not exactly surprising from the youngest team in the NHL.

I started the game almost 2 hours late. So, I watched in peace and then read through the comments here from pregame. Like an ad for Xanax.

I get annoyed because people are calling for kneejerk reactions based on 4 minutes of one game!
I get being frustrated and having high hopes. I don't get blaming it all on the coach or saying that a teenager will never make it based on one play, or one shift or one period out of a decade+ long career.

Cause honestly I don't notice to many others that are seriously saying fire quinn all the time. A lot of it is jokes and sarcasm.
