Eh. Remains to be seen. rookie year was fine. Missed 13 games the next season, 24 games last year.. this year got hurt in the offseason, came back and took a puck to the face. Idk what the other injuries were.

The future is bright. Foote is looking very dangerous in the offensive zone. Devs have enough good passers now, but lack in the shooting department. This kid will force himself into a top 6 role in the next year or two if he keeps it up.

Mercer was an absolute steal at 18th overall. Like getting smith at 17, this looks like a guy with potential to easily be a top 10 player from his draft class.

I can't say a bad thing about the Devs drafting, nor the unreal trades made over the past 4 years. Certainly some high end talent poised to jump into the NHL sooner than later. Walsh/Holtz/Clark/Shak all with high ceiling too boot. Nothing wrong with kids in our system.

It's crazy to think that Hall may have brought us our weakest trade return when compared to Vats and Coleman.

Vats= Kuokkonen who is 3 points off the team lead with our best +/-, and points per 60 minutes + Nico Daws, who remains a top prospect in the goalie department

Coleman = Foote and Shak. Another A+ return

Hall = Bahl + Mercer + Merkley + 2021 3rd....

Safe to say we aren't getting those kind of retuns in todays climate. But hopefully one day we can look at these trades and look at it as highway robbery.

The league and the refs let Sidney off the hook.

PK hits him when he can. But he also didn’t go after him in a cup finals to put his team in trouble because he’s not an idiot.

It all depends on timing. If you are down 4-1 with a couple minutes to go, you had better not accept that kind of abuse and leave it up to the officials. In a game with that much meaning, I get the restraint for sure. Plus P.K. was actually playing some good hockey back then. Remember, I was a fan of the trade for P.K. at the time. It took the season for my opinion to take a full 180 on him. But honestly, if you watch P.K, he seems just fine with mouthing-off and crosschecking guys after the whistle. I don't mind that one bit, but he'd better be ready to eat the odd punch and not cry about it after the fact.

I only made it to Swiss-B myself (total of 6 games haha), the rest was Junior, and all it took was snapping on a few guys and the rest of the league would leave you alone. Most guys who are chippy still don't want to scrap, so stand your ground a couple of times and they are quick to not bother you. Hockey fights really aren't that scary, usually just 6-10 punches thrown, rarely landed, and the "winner" of the fight is usually left with a broken knuckle, which is often the worst injury in these fights. Over in 10-20 seconds. I don't feel I am asking too much for this team to simply take a stand when were are getting lit up on the scoreboard, and physically beaten almost nightly.

Seriously????? A guy we were hoping to re-sign, if not trade for assets at the start of the season. What a difference a few months has made.

You would think a team like Nashville might be interested. Cap space is there, and they are still in the Hunt while potentially being sellers regardless. He could fill a trade void and still help in a playoff push. Who knows if anyone claims him with his numbers this season tho.

That is bat Sh@t crazy! Devs completely devalued a serviceable player and now they can't even trade him. What a waste.

Tyce Thompson practiced with the team today. Wonder if they'll work him into the lineup tomorrow.

Also, what's up with this kid's parents. They name their kids Tyce and Tage. Come on.

If he clears it probably ups his trade value from nothing to maybe a tiny something. Since they will be able to eat half in a trade and now the team acquiring him can throw him onto the taxi squad until they have room in the playoffs if they're a cap team. Either way oh well, he'll be back in Russia next year

He won't be in tomorrow. Ruff said he doesn't want to throw Tyce "into the fire", and he'll get a few practices before getting in
