You know, I have been of that same opinion up until recently. The team is playing great with guys out injured, those guys are going to get back healthy and fresh.

It feels like they could pick up the right player and go on one of their playoff hot streaks.

This is the first time in a long time the Pens have looked like a team that will outlook you, not just outside you. Prices are low this year... I'd be dipping my toes in a but to take a shot at it.

Oh well. I’m honestly surprised to even be able to compete for top spot in the metro. I thought we would be competing for the final playoff spot. Not that that is still impossible but this team has so far surpassed my expectations. I hope they do something. Obviously the expansion draft messes things up but I’d really like to get roslovic. Hopefully cbus just keeps sucking so he will sign elsewhere other than his hometown. Pitt is pretty close.

Yeah I didn’t say they would move him. Remember when he was tied to Rutherford though. He’s been killing it. Right handed McCann but putting up more points. Plus he is from Columbus too. But maybe if they continue to suck, laine leaves, maybe he won’t want to resign there after next year and Pitt is the next closest destination haha

I think they should definitely consider giving Tortz the boot but they really need to think hard about it.

They are never going to attract star power in Columbus, Tortz or not. Tortorella has done a pretty good job of making them competitive without a ton of high end talent.

Keikaleinen let Panarin and Duchene walk for free. You can't lose your #1 center and one of the best scoring wingers in the league for nothing and expect to stay competitive.
