Looks cool. Mother’s Day coming. Yes, that’s how romantic we are. It’s either this or a knife sharpener - Canada Cup
Is the idea that you buy it for her, so that you can go play your guitar in the backyard and leave her the hell alone, so she doesn't have to listen to your crappy guitar playing?
Happy wife, happy life. |

My girlfriend is never allowed to know that these exist.
She believes that all amplifiers are ear-splittingly loud and that's the way I aim to keep it. |

I’m playing piano exclusively these days and she likes the extra volume she gets from amp. This would give her more flexibility. But piano is very loud and I do suck. |

Don't get me wrong, I don't think Hutch is an NHL goalie, but I don't think he was too bad last night. - Atomic Wedgie
I'd agree.
You want him to make the Archibald goal harder to score - he opens up too soon before he covers up (his legs are splayed before his stick his down to cover the five hole), but you're playing your #3 goalie - defense should be a priority, and that one we can also put back on Rielly to some degree.
You have a ricochet goal, and a 2-on-1 in 3-on-3 OT. He was fine. Smith made a few 10-bell stops and won them that game. |

When my kid was studying for bar exam, he would yell at my wife for “stomping around” in her moccasins. |

I really like how the JT/Willy/Galc line has played, lots of great chances, seem to be buzzing.
whatever AG is adding to the line, its working so far. I feel like they are going to go off and snipe a bunch here soon |

So with Andersen's status in the wind I think Dubas needs to make a deal for a goalie somehow, someway. Forget forward, I think it's the goalie more than anything.
I'm randomly in the Dubnyk camp because he's cheap |

It it just me or does AG look like a JT lite out there? Maybe that is why they are working.
They are all excellent at keeping the flow of the game going and possessing the puck.
if he works there the new guy plays with AM and Hyman goes to the 3rd line. |

Playoffs are a while away they both should be fine.
2 forwards can get injured just as quick. |

Trade deadline is two weeks away. It's one thing for fans and media to not know the extent of the injuries but it's another for Dubas to not at least be considering a better back up plan than Hutch and the Villian. Campbell is an oft injured guy so they should insulate this position better.

The Vox amplug AC30.
I Googled it up, and one review basically told me that that was the "vanilla" one - you can't go wrong with it.
They are only about $65, so if she wants to branch out, she buy others with the babysitting money she has hoarded away. - Atomic Wedgie

I like that also, the 3rd line with Hyman is really annoying.
Really nice cheap pickup in AG if he is able to play on the second line

Campbell is not an often injured guy.
Has a nagging injury this year...but he is playing and that's a good sign.

Hyman makes that 3rd line work...Engvall is a makeshift 3C but Hyman seems to just make him better.
Need a guy for AM as we cant put full trust in Thornton and AG filling out those top 2 lines. |

Yeesh, thought we were trying to win a cup this year?
Hopefully we grab a goalie who’s playing well.

I read somewhere that they are pulling him from the roster for a few days - they are going to work on some mental things, and don't want him even thinking about playing right now.
I picked him to win the Vezina in the prediction thread.

When you're playing Barfalo you don't really need the kid anyway

The fact we're still in the top 4 despite not playing for that long is.... well surprising to say the least.

If our 'tending had been consistently 'pretty good' this year the biggest narrative on the year would be how well this team is reducing shots, scoring chances and high danger chances relative to the last few years. By few years I mean everything after Pat Burns.
The defensive game of the 18 skaters is pretty dramatically improved. If this team was known for anything it was long cycles in our D zone usually ending in goals. So much better this year. - The Law
If we split 3-4 pitchers, I could successfully argue that Keefe and Dubas have secretly convinced Andersen and Campbell to keep faking injuries, forcing the team to finally commit to playing better defensive hockey.

The way he's been playing, you never need the kid.
He'll bounce back, but he needs help.
