Lankinen and Roope Hintz living up to my hype.
Lankinen is 4th in league in minutes played so far this season with a save percentage of . 921 (Much much better than CHI other two goalies) and is one of the reasons Chicago can still think about playoffs.
Hintz has 23points in 23 games so far this season. - MaximusAurelius

It would be so super tasty if Galchenyuk had a resurgence worthy of his draft position on the Leafs. I'm gonna cry just thinking about the tastiness. |

Don't we have a similar problem.

Oh, no need.. I already know why..
Only Andersen has to deal with high danger scoring chances.. Campbell only faces wrist shots from centre ice. |

I feel like getting an XBOX, NHL and a bag of weed so I can watch Galy win the Conn Smythe through tears of joy.
Btw, Leafs vs. Habs in the playoffs could be super extra yummy. |

Him and the Feds are a joke. Being this far behind in vaccination is an inexcusable clusterfrank - Zezel
Thank you.
Not many people seem to recognize that EVERYONE has dropped the ball.
The feds waited 7 months before determining how Canada should go about producing their own vaccines. Then they chose to not take advantage of existing production facilities and started up their own and, predictably, it is WAY behind schedule already. They also failed to enter into any agreements to share technology or have companies produce vaccine here. This is a failed negotiation, nothing more. Then they failed to get a firm date for vaccine delivery so we have been playing catch up. Now we have a flood, after having months of a trickle and people are blaming the province??? They also closed the border and don't have anything resembling a plan or conditions for re-opening and yet, somehow, have people convinced this is based on science. They are really just basing decisions on internet polls which show most people in favour of keeping the borders closed, but without rhyme or reason. Most people are not travelling to the US and/or don't have relatives there so it is really easy to just say "leave it closed".
'
The province started off OK, then they totally failed to support the teachers and the school system and have continued to all but ignore them. Now, they are opening up society and as late as last week were reducing restrictions while numbers were skyrocketing again. We were literally opening things up while they were building a field hospital to handle the expected explosion of cases.... and continuing to tell people that their decisions are based solely on the concern for people's health.
Today I heard someone arguing that we should be vaccinating the younger people who are getting and spreading the disease.
Yeah, let's make sure the people congregating and partying against the restrictions are rewarded with vaccines so they are free to party more! The (frank)ing entitlement is obscene. |

There was never any option to manufacture vaccines in Canada. There are no facilities.
City of Toronto put out a news release today - Sanofi going to create a vaccine facility.
It will be operational in 2026. |

Oh yeah, don't forget the NDP whining about we need paid sick leave for everyone. Does that group ever stop to consider who has to pay for a system that could be so easily abused.
I have no idea who I am going to vote for next. The Fed's are led by a total buffoon who is guilty of multiple conflicts of interest. The province has completely dropped the ball on re-opening, and the education system and is now just basically lying about their reasoning and the NDP are a (frank)ing disaster that seems to believe that we should give everybody, everything for free and it will magically pay for itself.
I guess I will vote green party or just spoil my ballot next time.

I believe some people in the NDP have their heart in the right place but would be good to see some hard numbers in terms of the cost and benefit of some of the programs that they're proposing. There are countries that have extensive employment protections and mandatory benefits that exist and thrive. I just don't think the NDP has the talent to put together a real policy proposal as opposed to just modifying liberal legislation and calling it a win in their books. |

I am not going to argue so I will give you highlights and leave it at that.
1) Zero or wholly insufficient training for teachers to suddenly switch to remote learning from home, while their own kids are home suddenly also.
2) Setting out social distancing guidelines for society that cannot possibly be adhered to in the school room, and yet, the teachers performing an absolutely critical function are not vaccinated the same time as front line health care.
3) Recognizing the need for a reduction in class size, but not giving any reasonable funding to achieve this, at all.
4) Postponing March break because they did not want people to travel or congregate. Now they are even discussing about postponing again?
Bottom line is that teacher's have been impacted as heavily as any other group, including front-line health care, and have received virtually zero support. |

Oh please.
The guy was out a 4 AM completely drunk and he was supposed to practice the next morning for an upcoming game.
It's something everyone knew and plenty saw with their own eyes, myself included.
He wasn't treated unfairly, he was given every chance possible and blew it because he didn't take his job seriously enough.
Good for him if he finds a place where it works out. It's what? His 6th NHL team now? It's pretty much now or never for him. - Scabeh
Classic side effect of having your pockets stuffed as full of cash as they can be as a teenager.
Some do well, so go nuts and sort it out with time... It ruins some people forever.
I work in a place where 18 year olds from the other side of the world get dropped here, fat bonuses and good salaries in hand. Some go to their rooms and play the vids so they're ready for work, others hit the town and go completely postal for a week straight.
The NHL is that x10 and some kids just aren't equipped to handle it, haven't had/have the right supports... Whatever it is. I look at myself as an 18 year old and am grateful I never had top 3 NHL draft pick money on top of it. 🤷🏻♂️ |

We could have, rather, should have had a deal in place with the U.S instead of Europe to have the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines here sooner..
If it wasn't for federal government being scared of Donald Trump, we'd likely be in a better spot. |

Everything was transactional with Donald Trump with the price likely being a small piece of Canadian sovereignty rather than just a chunk of change. |
